When Sophie Snow called, Alice Turner had just entered her office. Seeing that it was Sophie calling, she immediately thought of Isla Lane.
Staring at the phone that wouldn't stop ringing for quite a while, she finally answered right before it was about to automatically hang up, "Hello! What's up?"
After asking, she quietly waited for the person on the other end to speak.
"I'm ready. About what you told me yesterday, I've decided to do it tonight." Sophie Snow didn't waste any words; she got straight to what she most wanted to say.
Alice Turner didn't know that Isla Lane and Charlotte Shaw had just gone to see Sophie. Hearing Sophie mention yesterday's matter, she simply thought Sophie couldn't hold back any longer and was eager to do it to achieve her goal of marrying Benjamin Shaw.
"You might not be able to do it tonight, Benj…"
"Why can't I do it tonight? What's up with Benjamin?"
