"Stop joking around, it looks like your mom has left."
Alice Turner had just dashed out of the break room and immediately went to look for Autumn York, but as she walked over to the sofa, she realized there wasn't a soul in sight.
She turned her head to look around the entire office, and sure enough, there was no trace of Autumn, so she quickly went back to find Thomas Fisher.
Thomas instinctively turned his head to look at the sofa, and indeed, his mom's figure was not there. Not seeing his mom made him laugh even more cheerfully, "She's left, so be it, anyway, she's already met you."
His mom was quite sensible not to stay and be a third wheel.
"Then I'll leave too." Alice thought she had been out for quite some time and should get back to the company to work.
Seeing that she was about to leave, Thomas reached out and grabbed her hand, "You've just arrived, stay a bit longer."
