After reading the message sent by Fabian Holmes, Easton Holmes immediately deleted it. Originally planning to go home, he changed his mind and called Lily Turner, lying that he was going to meet an old friend and wouldn't be back for dinner.
Lily Turner trusted Easton completely. When she heard he was meeting an old friend, she didn't doubt him at all.
"Easton isn't coming back for dinner?" asked Amelia Linton casually as she sat nearby, upon seeing Lily hang up the phone.
Lily Turner nodded, "Yeah, he said he's going to meet an old friend."
"Oh!" Amelia Linton responded without suspicion since she was unaware of the situation. She tilted her head slightly and glanced toward the door, "Why haven't your dad and Anan come back yet? Did the two of them go out for a feast again?"
It was past the usual time for them to be home, yet the grandfather and grandson were still not back, making her suspect they went out for a big meal.
