Although Ryan Taylor took big strides as he walked, he wasn't going very fast. It was as if he expected Lily Turner to call out to him. Just as her voice fell, he stopped in his tracks, turned around with little Anan in his arms, and looked at her as she walked over.
"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're not confident about me taking Anan back?" He purposely distorted her meaning, knowing full well that wasn't her intention. He just wanted to tease his little sister, who was sometimes really easy to tease.
"No way." Lily Turner replied, having already reached Ryan Taylor by now. She stood in front of him and pursed her lips before continuing, "I heard from Auntie that you have a girlfriend, you..."
"Uncle! You have a girlfriend?" Little Anan exclaimed loudly upon hearing his mother's words.
