Hearing the sweet, childish voice, Thomas Fisher had to end his silent observation and, along with Alice Turner, turned toward the gate in the courtyard.
Rosie Thompson and Evie, like adorable little rabbits, hopped joyfully toward Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher.
"Little cuties!"
Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner bent down, each opening their arms to catch Rosie and Evie as they ran over to them.
"Who brought you two over?"
Alice Turner asked while tilting her head toward the courtyard gate, seeing that there was no one there.
Rosie, who was in her arms, replied, "It was our brother who brought us over."
"Where's your brother then?"
After hearing Rosie, Alice Turner looked at the courtyard gate again. She hadn't seen wrong; there was indeed no one else there.
Evie spoke up at this moment, "Brother left as soon as he almost dropped us at the gate. He said he wants to go find uncle to play, saying playing with Uncle Thomas is too boring."
