The landlady watched Ning Wan's retreating back, but suddenly she was frozen in place. Just when Ning Wan was about to leave the hotel, the landlady walked directly out from her seat and followed her. As she was about to get close, she heard faint, restrained coughs and hurriedly spoke up, "Miss, wait a moment."
Upon hearing this, Ning Wan stopped in her tracks and looked at the landlady who now stood in front of her, with her hand faintly clenched into a fist near her mouth. The uncontrollable coughing had not ceased, causing her lungs to ache. It took a while before she managed to suppress the coughing, her voice soft and somewhat tender as she spoke, "Is there anything else?"
Throughout it all, her face wore a light, gentle smile, like a blooming flower, giving off a very comfortable feeling.
