When the group returned to the original filming location at the temple, Bai Zhi'er had already cleaned the temple inside and out.
During that time, she saw the temple's patron deity faintly appear on the clouds to thank her.
The others couldn't see it and thought Bai Zhi'er was admiring the moon.
Little did they know she was speaking to the deity on the clouds.
"No need to be polite, in the current times, faith is lacking, you all have been working hard."
The deity smiled warmly.
From their conversation, Bai Zhi'er learned that since she and Feng Fuce had arrived, all the demons and ghosts within a five-hundred-mile radius centered on this mountain had fled.
She couldn't help but let out a giggle.
Just then, Feng Fuce and the others returned.
The deity vanished, and Bai Zhi'er immediately went outside to greet them.
