After siting for a while with his mind clear of all thoughts as he enjoyed the cold gentle breeze as he silently looked towards the direction of the water Fray then came and lay next to him.
The land ahead of him appears to be a valley of trees with the water at it centers at least what seems to be the center there is a centre amount of distance from the point to the trees surrounding it.
These particular trees are not as large as the other trees which Shad Darc has seen before in fact the tallest tree that he seen so far here is barely half the size of large trees he had encountered along the way.
The tree he was resting at was one of such and there leaves are of darker blue in color not the usual dark green and some of them even have fruits on them.
The ground is also littered with flowers that looks like a combination of a sunflower and a lily flower but instead of there usual color of yellow and red it was instead a beautiful combination of sky blue touch of purple and white some larger than the others.
The flowers seems to gather most towards the east and west side of the water with a few scattered around here and there.
He wanted to close his eyes and rest for while but at the same time the place was feeling a bit unsettling to him one of the main reason he felt such was simple because it was a water source and because of that it is bound to attract a few creatures that might be out of his league.
With that he thought of his next move on how to go about from here.
"What do you think we should next" he asked Fray with no expectations of receiving a responds from it but simply because he felt like it.
Surprisingly it responded in own way firstly it lay down completely lay down it body and fully relaxing it seeing this Shad Darc asked it what it meant for clarification.
"Do you mean we should sleep" but Fray angrily shook it head in retort meaning to say no.
"Oh, or perhaps you mean we should relax a little" it then nodded it head slowly to say yes.
"Yeah I was also thinking the same thing"
Briefly looking at the bright sky he guess time to be late mornings or early afternoons.
But Shad couldn't rest at least not until he found a way to collect enough water and some of those beautiful looking fruit and he also need to wash the blood and dirt on his body.
Immediately he stood up and walked towards the small lake looking at the calm and pristine lake he began to think of a he stored water and also the fruits.
There wasn't much that he can do after all considering the fact that he is severly out of tools and equipments no instead it is much proper to say he had no tools and equipment.
"What to do, what to do, what to do" he said as he scratched the back of his head.
Doing what he was doing he saw the water rippled a bit it was almost as if it never happened but Shad Darc with his keen eyes good observational skills he was able to pick it up.
It wasn't anything serious it might be fish staring the water but Shad Darc will consider himself a fool if considers the staring as just a fish.
"Who knows how big or ugly a normal fish would look like in this place that enlarges everything." he said as he "tskd"
Turning away to leave the immediate vacinity of the pond of water he saw the water stare even more than before.
Since he doesn't get curious for stupid things he let it go after all this is a place he knows little to nothing about.
As he leaving he Fray approaching with tense expression as if it was wary of something in the waters.
About twenty steps away from the pond he immediately felt something rising from the waters he couldn't see what it was but he was sure something was wrong.
Just as he thought and felt such he saw Fray bearing out it fangs in an angry growl as it approaches him with intent to fight.
Shad Darc knew Fray wasn't coming for him but instead for the thing disturbing the waters.
He didn't look back but continue to walk away when he felt a subtle change in the atmosphere as it felt even colder.
He felt a very powerful goosebumps all over his body this wasn't like the mental attack of fear by Fray but a much natural and primal instinct of fear.
A type of fear that even he mentally resist his body and instinct won't.
He begins to sweet all over as he slowly walks away it was hot but he was somehow sweeting.
"Damn, what the leaving creep just got of that waters."
He is trying all his best to resist his instinctual fear of whatever that just came out from the waters but somehow it is only getting worst and so he stop the act of resisting as he stop in his tracks.
He looked at Fray who was approaching with madness, anger, and pure unfiltered hatred.
Even Shad Darc was surprise by the sheer weight of that hate it was at least twice more than his which begged the question on what might had happened between the two creatures.
'probably that is the reason why it wanted them not waste time here. Damn what have we gotten ourselves into, aargh any way its to late to retreat now.' as he said such he slowly turn back to look at the source of such terror.
What he was made temporarily not breathe as his body somehow temporarily forget how to.
It was a gigantic crocodile standing at full height equivalent to Fray who was at least bit taller than a adult male African elephant.
With eyes like that of a snow eagle with a scorpion like tale of obsidian that absorb the light that touches it, it teeth's was like that of a shark with two long fangs like that of a wolf.
In all this the most distinctive feature about it was that its body was completely white as white as snow.
The moment there eyes meet Shad Darc involuntarily took a step back.
And before he could make a move the stinger of a tail quickly shot and pierced the joint between his left hand elbow as he was slowly raised to the creature eye level.
