"What do you want to do to us? Isn't it enough that you killed our children, and now you want to harm us too?" Hannah struggled to wriggle her limbs trying to escape, but instead of getting free, her movements only made the ropes binding her sway.
Panic is contagious. Maybe the other two hadn't realized what Claude's approach meant, but Hannah's terrified tone, along with the swaying ropes, dragged them into a state of passive and unknown fear.
"Your children have simply repaid their debts, but your debts remain unsettled." Claude wasn't in a hurry to harm them. He looked at the three of them with an appreciative and pleased gaze, speaking in a cheerful tone.
"My child is still so young, what debt could he owe?" Hannah recalled her son crushed by stones, and the fire of hatred in her chest was rekindled once more.
