He Qing acted like a curious child, exploring Xu Ke's room. Her eyes sparkled, her cheeks were adorably red, but she didn't stay in Xu Ke's room for too long before leaving. She already had a good impression of Xu Ke, and she feared if she stayed longer, she wouldn't want to leave.
Upon returning home, He Qing saw He Chen sitting in the living room, holding a document, flipping through it, with several other files placed on his legs. He Qing reached out to check her watch under the indoor light, confirming the time, and couldn't hide the look of shock in her eyes as she gazed at He Chen.
"Brother, why didn't you go to work today?"
"I didn't want to go to the company to see their annoying faces," He Chen said coldly and proudly.
"Alright then." He Qing shrugged, wanting to go upstairs to her room, but was stopped by He Chen, "You went to see Xu Ke?"
