"That's more like it, you're more sensible than your aunt. Good, sit down, have some drinks with me, chat a bit. Cheng Xue Mei, don't just stand there, go get some barbecue." Cheng Kai said with a smile, a hint of smugness evident in his eyes.
He loved this feeling of being unchecked and unrestrained.
"My niece, she can't drink alcohol; how about this, I'll drink a few glasses with you." Cheng Xue Mei suggested.
"I'm not interested in you. Little beauty, if you don't have a drink with me tonight, your aunt's stall won't be open anymore." Cheng Kai sneered coldly.
"I'll drink with you, as long as you don't make things difficult for my aunt."
Cheng Guo didn't think too much of it, assuming it was just about having a few drinks. She could handle alcohol quite well, so she wasn't afraid.
Cheng Xue Mei tried to dissuade her, but one of Cheng Kai's men pushed her aside.
"Didn't you hear Brother Kai's words? Go get some barbecue, you're really an eyesore." A little thug scolded.
