A chilling cold crept up Dong Gong Ruoshu's back, and she furrowed her brow, shouting:
"Who goes there, come out."
The tone was almost scolding, yet the person did not get angry, only chuckled softly, and the sound of crisp footsteps echoed within the temple. Dong Gong Ruoshu saw a young man with handsome features and dressed in a scholar's robe emerge from behind the statue.
With his appearance, the surrounding cold eased considerably.
Dong Gong Ruoshu blinked, wondering if this person had been in this dilapidated temple all along. She hadn't even noticed.
"Who are you?" Dong Gong Ruoshu asked.
The man in the scholar's robe laughed instead, saying, "Why don't you guess who I am?"
Such a dialogue seemed to imply the visitor was not friendly.
