Bang! Bang! Bang!
The deafening impact of fists crashing against wood shattered the earth, the kinetic shockwaves echoing for thousands of miles across the wasteland. Rippling sound waves tore through the sky, violently shredding the clouds into scattered wisps.
The sheer volume of the blows was terrifying. Several ninja in the allied ranks buckled under the physical pressure, collapsing unconscious into the dirt.
From a safe distance, the Great Toad Sage watched the devastation unfold, his ancient eyes wide. The surrounding shinobi stood frozen in a trance, watching what looked like the absolute destruction of the shinobi world.
The battlefield was tens of thousands of miles of pure desolation.
The earth had cracked open as magma surged through the fissures like rivers of fire, sending thick columns of black smoke shooting into the sky like apocalyptic beacons.
Countless animals scattered in sheer terror, only to be swallowed whole by the flooding, molten rock.
Standing at the center of this doomsday scenario was a terrifying mechanical colossus, towering like a mountain.
It spread its metallic wings, casting a heavy shadow over the burning land, and threw its arms wide as it laughed into the smoke-choked sky, mocking the absolute powerlessness of the world below.
"If the world itself ceases to exist, only corpses will remain. Heaven and earth will collapse, and all living things will be erased," the Great Toad Sage murmured, his voice trembling.
Behind the old sage, the shinobi ranks broke. Anyone lacking absolute resolve turned and fled, desperate to escape this clash of gods. Even those brave enough to stay were sweating through their flak jackets, whispering frantically among themselves with pale, panicked faces.
Only one person in the entire army looked excited.
"Hashirama Senju. I didn't expect you to push it this far."
A lone figure stepped out from the retreating crowd, his dark crimson armor clinking as his wild, spiky hair danced in the heated wind. The panicked whispers died instantly, and every shinobi turned to stare at him in sheer disbelief.
The man stood tall, radiating an aura of chakra so dense it felt like a physical weight pressing down on their chests. Before anyone could even draw a breath, he snapped his head back, his eyes glaring impatiently.
"Shut up!"
His voice cracked like thunder, carrying a crushing killing intent that slammed the army into silence. The ninja froze in place, too terrified to move a single muscle.
Despite the overwhelming dread, one stubborn old man refused to back down.
"Who do you think you're yelling at..." Onoki barked, floating slightly off the ground.
The man slowly turned to face him. Onoki froze, his breath catching in his throat as a flood of traumatic memories from his youth slammed into his mind. It was Uchiha Madara.
"Onoki, I didn't quite catch that," Madara smirked, his tone dripping with lethal amusement.
"I said... I said the wind is a bit strong today," Onoki stammered, forcing a stiff, dry smile. "Dress warmly."
"Hmph. Smart," Madara scoffed. He reached back, unhooking his massive war fan and lethal kama.
"This battlefield isn't a place for you children to interfere. Get lost."
His arrogance was suffocating. The allied shinobi gritted their teeth in frustration, but nobody dared to talk back to a legend. Swallowing their pride, the army fell back.
Without a second glance, Madara leaped high into the air, rocketing straight toward the colossal wooden construct fighting in the distance.
'Idiot,' Madara thought, flexing his cracking fingers. 'This filthy Edo Tensei body is incredibly stiff to use. That trash, Obito, couldn't even get one simple thing right.'
'It doesn't matter now. Let's see how Hashirama is holding up in this fight.'
The World Tree construct was easily ten thousand feet tall, dwarfing the surrounding mountains. Madara landed smoothly on one of its massive wooden legs and immediately sprinted vertically up its rough bark.
The wooden titan was locked in a brutal clash with the heavy Metroplex. Every time their attacks collided, the sheer force of the impact shook the wood under Madara's boots like an earthquake.
'Amazing,' Madara thought, a manic grin spreading across his face. 'So strong!' He couldn't help but let out an exhilarated breath.
At the very top of the clash, both Mufasa and Hashirama Senju were silently acknowledging the insane power of the other.
'What a durable chunk of wood,' Mufasa mused inside his cockpit, his eyes locked on the flashing monitors. 'Looks like sheer blunt force isn't going to be enough to knock it down.'
He needed a different approach. Mufasa rapidly keyed in a new sequence, broadcasting his orders through the command channel.
"All weapon batteries, fire at will," Mufasa commanded.
The system instantly relayed the order across the mecha's neural network. Deep within the massive mechanical shoulders, Sunagakure engineering teams scrambled to their combat stations, shifting gears and locking payloads.
"Shoulder cannons locked!" a technician yelled over the comms. "Energy banks fully charged. Fire!"
The twin plasma cannons mounted on the mecha's broad shoulders hummed to life. With an earth-shattering boom, they unleashed two massive beams of concentrated heat straight into the World Tree's left shoulder.
Sizzle.
The high-temperature energy lanced cleanly through the dense chakra-infused wood, blowing the massive wooden shoulder apart like it was made of cheap paper.
Standing atop his creation, Hashirama kept his hands locked in the snake seal to maintain the jutsu. He caught the massive damage out of the corner of his eye, his thick brow furrowing.
'What a sharp, devastating attack,' Hashirama thought, an excited gleam matching his frown. 'But I'm not losing to you.'
He snapped his focus back to the front, letting out a deep, rumbling shout.
"Regrow!"
Thick trunks instantly erupted from the smoldering edges of the pierced wood. The fresh branches rapidly twisted, knotted, and reinforced one another, weaving muscle-like fibers back into place. Within seconds, the blasted shoulder was completely restored, as solid as ever.
Clap. Clap.
Inside the cockpit, Mufasa slowly clapped his hands.
"A solid countermeasure," Mufasa said, his voice amplified over the mecha's external speakers. "But that was just a warm-up."
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The heavy armor plates on the mecha's back split open, revealing massive missile pods. Hundreds of guided warheads launched simultaneously, tracing deadly white smoke arcs through the sky before raining down directly toward Hashirama's head.
Hashirama let out another roaring battle cry, pumping immense chakra into the wood beneath him. The titan's head rapidly sprouted a towering, dense canopy of reinforced branches, creating an impenetrable wooden dome over the First Hokage.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The warheads slammed into the wooden shield, sparking a chain reaction of violent explosions. Orange fire washed over the dome, but the dense, chakra-infused wood successfully absorbed the lethal shockwaves.
Every time a branch was blown away, a new one violently sprouted to take its place. The missiles simply couldn't break through the rapid regeneration.
But Hashirama was just one man. Mufasa had the entire industrial might of Sunagakure at his literal fingertips.
Hidden compartments all over the mecha's legs, forearms, and waist flipped open, unleashing an absolute storm of firepower. Chakra-infused artillery shells, tracking missiles, searing plasma beams, and high-frequency energy blades all fired at once.
In a split second, the World Tree titan was completely engulfed in destruction from head to toe. Dense, overlapping explosions of blue plasma and orange fire blanketed the entire front of the wooden colossus.
Caught totally off guard by the sheer density of the bombardment, Hashirama gritted his teeth as his mighty creation was physically beaten backward, step by staggering step.
Massive chunks of the wooden titan began to shear off, splintering like a crumbling mountainside during a landslide. Chunks of jagged wood, some larger than small hills, rained down onto the ruined earth below.
The straggling shinobi who hadn't managed to retreat far enough yet watched the spectacle in utter horror, the blood draining from their faces.
Could it be that even the god-like ninjutsu of Hashirama Senju couldn't withstand the technological terror of Sunagakure and Mufasa? Was this truly the end of the shinobi world?
But while the entire world seemed perfectly content to panic, Uchiha Madara was still sprinting up the collapsing wooden titan, completely unfazed.
The structure bucked wildly under the relentless bombardment, violently shaking Madara's footing as massive, smoking logs plummeted from above. Madara didn't even break his stride.
He casually swung his massive gunbai, generating razor-sharp gales of wind that smashed the falling debris into harmless toothpicks. The deafening roar of overlapping explosions echoed in his ears, while the colossal tree groaning beneath his boots sounded like it was being ripped apart from the inside.
A dark, terrifying shadow fell over Madara's face, his Sharingan blazing with a chaotic, bloodthirsty fire.
"Hashirama!" he roared, a manic grin stretching across his face. "Don't you dare die!"
"Wait for me!!"
