Within Elior's Observation Haki domain, he clearly sensed the deep-sea monster and its profound fear.
It was afraid of Elior!
This creature was the devil of the deep sea, having dominated these turbulent waters for countless years. In this world, there were only a handful of beings capable of making it feel fear.
However, the only one who could fill it with such overwhelming terror now was Elior!
The more powerful a creature was, the more clearly it could sense the terror of an even greater existence!

And so, it wanted to leave—
To escape!
However, just as it attempted to flee, Elior plunged directly into the deep sea.
A spatial barrier spread around his body, isolating him completely from the seawater, preventing it from touching him at all.
Of course, the depth of the deep sea was nearly one hundred thousand meters, and the pressure there was beyond terrifying, enough to tear countless creatures apart.
Yet Elior did not care about this at all.
He was simply too strong.
The pressure of the seawater meant nothing to him.
Finally, Elior saw the deep-sea creature clearly.
This was a pitch-dark region of the ocean, eternally shrouded in darkness. However, because of the eyes of this terrifying creature, the cold and black depths were faintly illuminated—though the light was an eerie crimson red.
This incomparably horrifying monster possessed eyes larger than ordinary ships.
It had three pairs of eyes—
Six eyes in total.
All of them glowed with a strange red hue.
This alone made the monster resemble a true demon.
"Human… I did not offend you."
The demon-like creature stared at Elior with its three pairs of eyes. The moment it saw him appear before it, the fear within its heart intensified uncontrollably.
This fear grew stronger and stronger.
This was the first time it had felt fear in so many years.
It had been at least several hundred years since it last experienced such terror!
It was incredibly powerful—
Even stronger than Sea Kings that had lived for thousands of years. In fact, even overlord-level Sea Kings were no match for it.
And those overlord-level Sea Kings avoided this sea area precisely because of this demonic creature's existence.
If a war were to break out, even if they survived, they would suffer devastating losses.
"You really didn't offend me," Elior said calmly. "And in fact, I have no ill intentions toward you."
Of course, the demonic creature did not speak the human language. However, through the Voice of All Things, Elior could clearly understand its words, and the creature could also comprehend Elior's speech.
"But when you stand before me, I feel uneasy," the creature admitted. "Human… to be honest, I am afraid of your power."
"Where is Laugh Tale?"
Elior did not waste time and directly stated the reason he had descended into the deep sea in search of this terrifying being.
Since this demonic creature had been entrenched in these waters for so long, Elior believed it might know the location of Laugh Tale.
"What is Laugh Tale?"
However, the demonic creature seemed unfamiliar with the name.
"It's an island," Elior explained. "Is there a special sea region nearby? Of course, it isn't an ordinary island. It's an extremely special one."
"A special island?"
The demonic creature only wanted to escape from Elior as quickly as possible.
"This is a very special island," Elior continued. "Even Laugh Tale, an island of immense importance to this world is known to the Sea Kings. There's no reason for you not to know about it!"
"You live in this sea region. It's impossible that you don't know about such an important island that existed hundreds of years ago. Take me there."
Elior looked at the creature with sharp, penetrating eyes.
This alone was a powerful deterrent.
"…Alright," the creature finally said. "I'll take you close to it. But once I see the island, I'll leave."
Elior narrowed his eyes slightly."You're afraid of that island?"
"I don't know why," the creature replied honestly. "But there is a special power there… something that terrifies me."
