Chapter 35 - Chapter 35

The profound stillness and surreal beauty of the Heavenly Palace were a stark contrast to the cataclysmic storm Origin had just walked away from. Now, leaning back in a comfortable chair, a warm ceramic mug filled with Coke—imported from another world—rested easily in his hand. The echoes of the battle still hummed faintly in his mind, like a song fading after its final note.

Veldanava sat nearby, a serene smile on his face. His mere presence radiated authority and calm—a reminder that this being was not merely a god but the very concept of existence itself. He, too, took a casual sip of the Coke Origin had brought, clearly enjoying the unfamiliar taste.

"You look well, Origin," Veldanava remarked lightly. "Considering you were just hurling black holes and mimicking the techniques of different beings—especially Enuma Elish—I'd say that's impressive. I hope Gilgamesh doesn't find it out otherwise he will sue you for copyright"

Origin arched an eyebrow, his lips twitching faintly at the teasing of Veldanava as he took another slow sip.

"It was… an amazing fight with Guy," he said, his voice a calm blend of exhaustion and amusement as well as enjoyment. "Though I still resent being an 'experience pack' for everyone. Why does this always happen when I actually try to have fun?"

Veldanava's chuckle echoed softly through the vast crystalline hall of the Heavenly Palace, each note resonating like divine chimes.

"Perhaps," he said, "you simply have a talent for it—a knack for being the perfect whetstone and sparring partner. But in all seriousness, that fight was perfect. It achieved exactly what it needed to."

Origin turned his gaze toward him, curiosity flickering behind his calm eyes.

"The 'Ultimate Evil' strategy, then? You had planned that, Sir Veldanava?"

"Precisely," Veldanava confirmed with a calm nod. "Now, the entire world—especially those foolish high-humans who dabble in summoning—knows that Guy exists, and that he is terrifying. They witnessed the consequences of two supreme beings clashing, even within my barrier. Now they have an existential threat, a focus to direct their fear and aggression toward. Instead of fighting over petty borders, they'll unite against the Demon Lord."

Origin accepted this explanation with quiet understanding. The cold logic of it was undeniable.

"So the 'Ultimate Evil' role is secured," he said softly. "Humanity will be forced to grow stronger."

"A harsh lesson," Veldanava admitted, "but a necessary one. And now that Guy has evolved, he has the power to play that role convincingly for millennia. You've not only given him his greatest battle but also the strength he needed to become the world's enduring menace."

Origin leaned back, letting out a faint sigh.

"Sir Veldanava, you know this strategy won't last forever."

"I know," Veldanava said calmly, already anticipating that thought. "But for now, it will serve its purpose. Until a new idea emerges, we can use Guy to keep the human race in check. He'll perform his Mediator duties well—at least until we find someone who can balance him."

Hearing that, Origin immediately thought of Rudra, the only student of Sir Veldanava—someone destined to stand on the opposite side of Guy in the flow of history.

The two divine beings sat in peaceful silence for a while, the light from the Palace's translucent walls cascading in soft hues. Then, a sudden wave of frigid air swept through the hall. Frost spread across the marble floor, and the temperature dropped instantly.

Velzard, the Ice Dragon, materialized—her white hair shimmering like moonlight on snow, her blue eyes sharp and commanding. Her very presence carried the weight of winter itself.

Her gaze locked instantly on Origin. She ignored her elder brother completely, her curiosity cutting through the air like a blade of ice.

"That demon," she began coldly, "Guy. How did he hold out against you for so long? What ability did he use to copy your magic?"

Origin met her eyes and smiled faintly, his expression patient.

"He gained a new Unique Skill after fighting Sir Veldanava," he explained. "And during our battle, it evolved into an Ultimate Skill—Lucifer, Lord of Pride. It's an advanced evolution of his analytical and copying abilities."

Velzard's eyes narrowed, clearly intrigued.

"An Ultimate Skill... already? That easily?"

She knew all too well the power of Origin—the embodiment of energy itself, her brother's closest friend, and her own sparring partner. For a demon to last even a few moments against him was remarkable; for Guy to fight that long was unthinkable. If both her brother and Origin were praising that demon, entrusting him with such an important role, then he was indeed exceptional.

And yet, deep within her heart, a spark of envy flared.

Guy had earned recognition—something even she, the Ice Dragon, had yet to receive.

Velzard turned her gaze to her brother.

"I will test this Guy myself," she declared, her tone sharp as ice. "Let's see if he's truly worthy of your attention, Elder Brother."

Before either Origin or Veldanava could respond, her body dissolved into a swirl of snow and frost, vanishing into the air.

Origin watched her departure with a sigh and a small smile.

"That poor demon is going to have a rough few thousand years," he murmured.

Leaning back, he let out a quiet laugh to himself.

"Perhaps this is how it began… Velzard's eventual affection for Guy—her fascination born from conflict."

He remembered what happened, In the Light Novel After Sir Veldanava gave the Mediator Position to Guy. The Envious Velzard came to battle Guy and defeat him and earn the recognition from her Elder Brother. In the fight, Velzard, after battling Guy to a stalemate—despite wielding an Ultimate Skill while he had only a Unique one—had fallen for his unyielding pride and strength. The Battle between Guy and Velzard almost destroyed the World but damage caused caused the axis of the world to shift. And Velgrynd, The Scorch Dragon, had loved Rudra, The Prince of Kingdom of Nasca , The True Chosen Hero and only student of Veldanava. For his ideas , Charismatic behavior and strength

Origin smirked faintly, lost in thought.

"Well, let's see if that happens here too," he murmured, tipping the bottle back and finishing it in one go.

"Hey!" Veldanava called in mock indignation. "Leave some for me, will you?"

Origin chuckled, standing up as a shimmering rift opened behind him.

"Fine, fine. I'll grab more from another world—maybe some snacks this time too," he said with a wave, stepping through and vanishing into the rift.

Miles away fr up in the North, amidst the desolate remains of the once-proud Super Magic Empire, silence reigned. The land was scarred, the skies gray with the residue of power. At its center stood Guy Crimson—the red-haired Demon Lord—his eyes glowing faintly in the fading light.

He had lost the fight, yes. But he had gained far greater power.

Ultimate Skill: Lucifer, Lord of Pride.

Behind him stood Rain and Mizeri, the twin Primordials of Blue and Green, their expressions blank with disbelief. Their master—Guy had lost twice in a single day.

Yet Guy ignored them completely. His focus was inward, his mind lost in the roaring storm of new power that surged within him. The thrill of evolution burned through his veins, followed by cold, calculating clarity.

Lucifer was extraordinary. It granted him confidence and perfection—the ability to analyze, adapt, and replicate any technique or Ultimate Skill he had seen. There were, of course, limits to this skill. Origin's skill, for instance, was beyond comprehension; his true nature could not be copied. Still, Guy had mimicked much of his combat style and magical execution, and that alone proved a chilling fact.

Origin had been holding back.

Guy's red eyes narrowed, and a faint grin tugged at his lips. The sting of defeat was gone—replaced by ambition.

He finally understood.

Origin hadn't fought to win. He'd fought to push him further.

Guy clenched his fist, feeling the hum of his new power.

"This is unacceptable," he muttered. "I'll surpass him. Someday, I'll fight him again—and this time, neither of us will hold back."

His gaze turned toward the endless wasteland that had once been the empire of arrogant mages.

"I need a place to live," he said finally. "We'll take this land."

He pointed toward the cracked ruins at the center of the desolation.

"Rain, Mizeri—restore it. Make this a place for living"

"At once, Master Guy!" both answered, their voices overlapping in perfect unison.

Rain raised her hand, manipulating vast currents of water and earth to mend the shattered terrain. Mizeri followed, wielding fire and plant magic to breathe vitality into the scorched soil. The barren wasteland began to transform—slowly at first, then rapidly—into something breathtaking and terrible.

Days passed.

The sky cleared. The land began to pulse with new life—and darkness. A fortress of obsidian rose where ruin once stood, surrounded by glacial rivers and walls of enchanted stone. Towers pierced the sky, crackling with infernal energy.

Guy stood at the center of it all, cloak billowing in the icy northern winds. A faint smile played on his lips as he gazed at his creation.

The Northern Continent would be his throne. His reign—unchallenged.

Years slipped away beneath the dark shadow of the Demon Lord.

For a time, Veldanava's plan worked perfectly. Fear of Guy—and the haunting memory of the obliterated Super Magic Empire—kept humanity unified. The kingdoms that once warred over trifles now stood together, pooling their strength to survive the might of Demon Lord Guy. For the first time in history, humankind was united—not by hope, but by fear.

Guy, The Lord of Darkness, The title given to him by the people around the world he who ruled the North. His mere name was enough to silence ambition and curb greed.

But arrogance, as Guy well knew, was a disease that always returned.

In his grand, dimly lit throne room, Guy listened to whispers brought by his greater demons—and arch-demons creatures descended from Rain and Mizeri's lineage, acting as spies across the continents. Their reports carried the same story: the great kingdoms were forgetting.

They were growing complacent.

The terror had faded.

They dreamed once more of empire, of conquest, of kingship.

Guy leaned back in his throne, eyes half-lidded. A faint, cold smile curved his lips.

"Arrogance of humanity," he murmured. "It always comes back." To show humanity their place once again. Guy appeared.

This time He didn't send armies of his demons to trouble the kingdoms to keep them in check.

He simply appeared—materializing in the center of the most powerful and ambitious human kingdom, his dark crimson aura painting the streets in shades of dread.

The humans froze, unable to move, their souls trembling before the presence of absolute power. Guy stood silently in the plaza, eyes burning like twin stars. Then, without a word, he released his energy.

It wasn't a battle. It wasn't wrath.

It was a masscarre.

The kingdom ceased to exist.

No ruins. No survivors. No sound—only silence and ash. The ground was scorched black, and the very air screamed and burned away. Guy stood amid the void he had created, expression calm, detached.

Then he vanished.

The world learned of it within hours. The surviving mages and travelers carried tales of horror across continents. Rulers who had once dreamed of glory now trembled behind their walls. Every army stood down. Every banner was lowered. The will to fight died.

From his throne in the North, Guy watched the world's submission with quiet satisfaction.

"Good," he whispered. "As long as you remember your place, I won't destroy you."

Far up in the Heavenly Palace Origin watched this happen after returning from other worlds with snacks and Coke , He sighed and said Well Guy is indeed doing his work though I feel pity for the people of the kingdom which Guy destroyed. It was not their fault but the king's but they all must bear the price. Guy also got his title Lord of Darkness this early it seems the butterfly effect . I know he did not get that title this early but let's forget it and focus on learning and controlling my power.

And so the centuries rolled on.

The world and humanity endured—not under the guidance of hope or the wisdom of gods, but under the fear and chilling crimson gaze of the Demon Lord Guy who had become the Ultimate Evil to force humanity to make peace.
