Chapter 357 - Chapter 357: Luffy, You Are So Slow

Violet was actually looking forward to the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates. As a high-ranking officer in Doflamingo's crew, she knew exactly why they were coming to Dressrosa, and she couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. She believed that if they succeeded, Dressrosa would finally be set free. Her plan was to wait silently for the right moment to strike back against Doflamingo, rescue her father, and help the Straw Hats defeat the demon who ruled her country.

"Young Master, the Straw Hats have appeared," Violet reported, standing calmly to the side.

"Jajajaja! Are they finally here?" Doflamingo laughed, his voice full of arrogance. "I've been waiting for them! Even if Luffy is considered one of the Five Emperors, does he think he can survive this? The Blackbeard Pirates, the Big Mom Pirates, and the Kaido Pirates are all here. What can he possibly do? And as for that brat Law, I will tear him to pieces!"

Doflamingo felt incredibly proud of himself. He believed his plan was perfect and that the Straw Hats would be destroyed. He gave the order to start the martial arts tournament at the Corrida Colosseum and sent subordinates to trick the Straw Hats into joining. To him, trading the Moa Moa no Mi for the head of a Sea Emperor was a brilliant deal that would make his reputation legendary. As for Law, Doflamingo viewed him as nothing more than a child who would die soon enough.

Suddenly, a transponder snail began to ring. The snail took on the appearance of a man wearing a spotted hat; it was Trafalgar Law.

"Law, you've finally arrived," Doflamingo said, his tone dripping with pride. "Give me back the hearts of Diamante and the others. I've done what you asked!"

"Fine," Law replied calmly. "Send someone to Green Bit. I'll be waiting there." He immediately hung up the phone.

Doflamingo frowned, wondering why Law chose Green Bit. He suspected a trap. To be safe, he ordered Violet to use her Glare-Glare Fruit powers to scan the area. Violet's report surprised him. She told him that all the Straw Hats were visible, but Law's submarine was missing.

"So, Law is acting alone?" Doflamingo asked, his suspicion growing. "Is he really that brave? Does he think I won't touch him just because the Straw Hats are backing him up?" He looked at Violet with distrust, remembering she was the princess of the former royal family. He wondered if she was lying to him.

To confirm the truth, Doflamingo called the guards at the port.

"My Lord, all the Straw Hats are here," the guard reported quickly. "We see Straw Hat Luffy, the Lightning Great Swordsman Carl, Roronoa Zoro, Black Leg Sanji, and the others. Even their sea monster, Mohmoo, is with them." The guard was smart enough to list the crew's strongest members to prove he wasn't mistaken.

Doflamingo felt relieved. He was genuinely surprised that Law was arrogant enough to face him alone. Nearby, Violet felt a pang of sadness that Doflamingo didn't trust her, but she continued to hide her true feelings.

"Jajajaja!" Doflamingo laughed loudly. "If Law wants to be so arrogant, I'll give him what he wants! I'll go see him personally and send him to meet Gold Roger before the Straw Hats can even help him!" With that, Doflamingo jumped out of the window and used his strings to fly toward the island of Green Bit. He was eager to see the look of pure terror on Law's face.

Meanwhile, on the Thousand Sunny, the crew kept glancing at "Carl" and "Robin" sitting on the mast. Luffy and the others had expressions of pure shock. Galdino, also known as Mr. 3, puffed out his chest with pride. This was his masterpiece. Luffy reached out and patted "Carl" on the face. Even after looking closely, he couldn't see any difference from the real person.

"Hahaha! Galdino, Marianne, you guys are amazing!" Luffy laughed.

"Of course we are!" Galdino said, adjusting his glasses. "When I work with Marianne, the wax figures I create look exactly like the real thing. I can even make them move!"

Doflamingo had no idea that the "Carl" and "Robin" he saw on the ship were just wax clones. Before they reached the island, Law had come up with a battle plan. He chose Green Bit as the meeting spot to draw Doflamingo's officers away from the main city, which would make things easier for the Straw Hats. Even though the crew was strong, Law didn't want them to be surrounded by too many enemies at once.

Law was using himself as bait, knowing Doflamingo wouldn't miss a chance to catch him. However, Carl had predicted that Doflamingo might show up personally. To confuse the enemy, Carl suggested the wax figure plan. This allowed Carl and Robin to sneak off the ship and follow Law to Green Bit in secret. Marianne had insisted that Robin go with Carl because he needed a capable partner, a move that made Sanji very jealous but was accepted by the rest of the crew.

Luffy looked at the approaching docks of Dressrosa. He used his Observation Haki and could feel the presence of many powerful fighters, which made him very excited. Then, he spotted three familiar faces waiting at the port and broke into a wide grin. The rest of the crew smiled too, happy to see their friends.

"Hey! Ace! Marco! Vista! We're here!" Luffy shouted, waving his arms wildly.

"Luffy! You're so slow!" Ace yelled back with a big smile, even though he sounded annoyed. The two brothers were overjoyed to see each other again.

As the Thousand Sunny docked, the people at the port began to panic. Many fled in fear, while others ran to tell their bosses that the Straw Hats had arrived. The crew's reputation was massive; everyone knew they were strong enough to challenge the Four Emperors. Their arrival turned the entire island into a beehive of activity.

"Luffy, you kept me waiting for days!" Ace said, playfully punching Luffy's chest.

"Shishishi! Sorry! I went to go watch the duel between the Admirals first, so I got a late start," Luffy explained with a laugh. The war for Dressrosa was about to begin.
