Deep below the screens, something else had begun learning how to watch them too.
Above it, the Primary Monitoring Hall continued working as if nothing had changed.
The first shift rotation had already begun. A few professors handed their stations over to fresh observers, passing along notes about student behavior, problem sectors, and unusual terrain activity.
Coffee cups were replaced. Chairs changed hands. The floating screens kept turning through their slow patterns, moving from one sector to another without interruption.
Some students inside the realm had reached temporary safe zones and were resting. Their feeds showed low movement, steady breathing, and controlled mana use.
Others were still hunting, exploring ruins, or following the paths marked by energy veins.
The hall reflected all of it.
