A piercing scream came from the music room. Lin Qiye calmly leaned against the railing in the corridor and yawned.
"Wow... Sometimes you're even more menacing than I am..." Lin Xi Chen yawned again as she scrolled through her social media, leaning her head against Lin Qiye's shoulder. Despite what she had said, she made no move to go rescue Liu Yuan.
"One, two, three... fifteen, sixteen, seventeen... almost there."
Lin Qiye muttered something under his breath, stepped forward, and opened the door again.
Inside the music room, the Snake Seed offspring transformed from Han Ruo Ruo was watching him vigilantly. On the floor nearby, Liu Yuan lay quietly, without a single scratch on his body.
"Instead of tearing him apart, you chose to plant the snake seed... That's better." Lin Qiye smiled and reached behind his back.
With a soft hum, the straight sword was drawn.
Just then, Liu Yuan sat up abruptly as if he had risen from the dead, staring intently at Lin Qiye, with a hint of resentment still lingering in his eyes.
He stood up in an extremely bizarre posture, his head gradually splitting open, revealing a gaping maw full of fangs, and roared at Lin Qiye!

The moment the Nanda snake demon swung its claws, Lin Qiye reacted instantly, dodging to the side at lightning speed.
The snake demon's claws gripped the wall behind Lin Qiye, cutting through it like a knife through tofu, leaving several slash marks!
Lin Qiye steadied himself, glanced at the wall that had almost been torn through, and his expression immediately turned grim. He cursed under his breath:

A metallic clang rang out as the blade struck the black scales, sending sparks flying. A tremendous force then blasted Lin Qiye away, nearly knocking him to the ground.
Lin Qiye barely managed to steady himself, and a shallow cut appeared on the tail of the Nandaka snake demon.
