"What?" Lyla stared at Felix with her eyes wide. "For me?"
Felix ignored her, and just smiled at the shop assistant. "Please show us the best you've got. We have a lot of money to spend," he said, trying to imitate Kade. It didn't come out too confidently, since he lacked experience when it came to shopping (and spending money on anything other than necessities in general), but when the shop assistant heard the money being mentioned, she quickly scanned Lyla with her eyes, before starting to browse through the hangers, looking for something suitable.
She wasn't the only person to react to his words, as Lyla's face grew darker.
"Are you trying to make me spend a lot of money?" she took a guess. "To get me in trouble with the pack or my parents? If so, I'll have to let you know that even if you use the favor voucher for it, I-"
"That's not it," Felix interrupted, not wanting to listen to Lyla's complaints. "If it were about the money, I would have taken you to the jewelers."
