Harrison did have some genuine affection for her, and seeing her like this twisted something in his chest.

"It's not what you think.

You have to believe me."

"I hope so, Harrison.

I'll wait for you outside."

Her face pale, Juliet gave a faint nod before turning away.

The sorrow in her eyes vanished in an instant, replaced by something dark and disdainful.

"Wait, Juliet—"

Harrison seemed to remember something, his voice strained as he spoke.

"Have the hotel send me a change of clothes."

"Me too," Gina chimed in hastily, eyeing the torn fabric of her ruined gown.

" Juliet, my dress is ruined as well.

Have them bring me something to wear too."

Though the situation was undeniably awkward, she had no choice—she couldn't very well walk out naked.

Her fiancé lying in bed with another woman, and now she had to deliver their clothes to them.

Disgusting.
