As soon as Camilla finished speaking, she suddenly grasped the hidden meaning in Sinclair's words.
Shooting him an indignant glare, she quickly composed herself and pressed on with a serious tone.
"I thought you were just sending people to gather intel about Grandpa.
How did you end up getting hurt?"
Sinclair's dark, fathomless eyes remained fixed on her, his expression unreadably gentle.
"Your grandfather is indeed being held in the dungeon beneath the palace's east wing."
Camilla's long, thick lashes fluttered slightly.
It had only been speculation before, but now that the truth was confirmed, it felt surreal.
After searching for so long... they'd finally found him.
Whether or not they shared blood, her grandfather had been the greatest warmth of her life.
