The Ringmaster was stunned beyond words, he even believed he put himself under hypnosis using the Nullatron, or maybe the blueprints his father stole from the Red Skull were flawed. He was not alone however even his compatriots who agreed to his plan started doubting their own reality. I mean the absurdity of the situation was kooky. Two brothers who have been performing for years and have been perfecting their skills for longer just died withing minuets of one another.
The circus members swarmed the stage and hid the bodies with their best efforts and upon a closer look 1 of the brothers was missing an eye. How was that even possible, was the common thought among the members who didn't get sick looking at the socket. The ringmaster activated his hypnosis once again and put everyone in a trance excluding himself.
"What the hell went wrong. How did he loose an eye? Why did the other brother fall?" Maynard was absolutely baffled, Surely he didn't put them under a trance by accident as well right? that's what he thought trying to piece the death together. While in thought he noticed something out the corners of his eyes, movement. Wait movement? He craned his neck sideways and saw a woman pulling her hair out with tweezers. He was confused once more didn't he just put everyone in the circus under hypnosis? He tried again and aimed at her trying to put her under a trance. Nothing happened even though he knew it went off as he felt a ripple in his mind. Before he could think of anything else he heard a loud bang followed by many footsteps.
[Seconds Before]
We finally arrived at the circus and it was oddly calm. Maybe nothing has happened yet? if that's the case this is good. I got out the car and waited for everyone to follow when everyone was out I started to speak.
"Before I say anything shoot the cameras near us, as we cant have any leaks" I yelled out, I heard about 6 shots. I decided to not use any specific terms just in case there was any hidden cameras the guards missed, but I will include the way to contain it in case we fail and more officers show up to minimize police casualties, maybe this will even be seen as goodwill after the fact.
"Alright listen up, as I said before the status of the sites are unknown, even I can contact other 5s or sites, but due to the event that happened all of the things kept locked away were unlocked and moved outside of this reality. It wont be long before they all start returning, as the one inside the circus. Ill speak more when we re-capture 221." I said loud and clearly. The soldiers stayed silent but they were clearly perturbed, its not everyday they experience a reality change and a mass containment breach of all SCPs even objects.
"Today I called you guys out here because 221 or the Golden Tweezers are suspected to be here." I continued.
"The Golden Tweezers are relatively easy to contain, but if it touches you or you loose yourself and touch them you will be terminated on the spot. The tweezers can slightly affect your mind if you let them, it will make you try and pick them up, and once you do it will start plucking hairs then it will continue plucking stuff from your body until you die." I paused briefly to catch my breath and said some final words.
"To contain it fast we will go in and pose as robbers then we will take someone's purse and use that to contain it then we can go from there" I heard a resounding yes come from the operators. They rushed in while I went in and stood behind the entrance door expecting company.
[Present]
The guards rushed in after kicking the doors down purely for the scare factor, but when they rushed in they could tell something was wrong, as no one reacted, and only 2 people were moving and one of them seemed to have the tweezers. The other person was on stage looking at them.
"Who are you guys?" The Ringmaster yelled from the stage clearly agitated, as they also moved even after he tried to use hypnosis on them. Now he was feeling certain something was wrong with the Nullatron.
The guards looked at each other and instantly assumed 1 thing for some reason everyone but the man on stage and SCP-221-1 were able to move. As soon as this thought cam they instantly pulled out their weapons and raised it to the man on stage and one of the yelled out.
"If you make any sudden movements we will unload our magazines on you, 10 of us will slowly approach you and they will restrain you if you lunge at them you will die." as soon as those words were said the Ringmaster froze seeing all the weapons drawn at him, and with his Nullatron not working on them he decided to do the smart choice which was to stand absolutely still as if he was a statue. As the 10 people approached him the other 10 made their way to the lady pulling her hairs out calmly. They recalled their instructions and grabbed a random woman's bag and brought it close to tweezers. Then one of them brought their pistol next to the woman's head and pulled the trigger twice for good measure. The woman's body instantly went limp and the tweezers dropped into the bag. As for Maynard watching this scene he started to pee himself, his green pants started to darken and the guards seeing this scene raised their guns and mag dumped him. They meant what they said, and also they were not planning on leaving him alive anyways.
[At the entrance]
The cops arrived moments after the guards stepped in, It was only 3 cop cars but there was a total of six cops, and I even recognized one of them it was Captain Stacy, Gwen Stacy's father. As soon as they appeared they came out their cars and open their cars back trunk and took out AR's.
"Everyone in the building come out with your hands up" it was Captain Stacy whom said that, and 3 people split and headed to the back of the circus. They repeated the instructions until they heard 2 gunshots followed by a lot more. As soon as they heard those shots they became more aggressive and got closer to the entrance. I saw them get closer, but I was not worried as I have been barricading the front door. I finally decided it was enough and went into the main building. As soon as I entered I was hit with the stench of blood, and 5 dead bodies, I gagged. I am not as ruthless and uncaring as the guards, when I saw the bodies I was disturbed, But it still managed to choke out some words.
"Everyone, we will be leaving from the back there is only 3 officers with AR's the rest are at the front." When I looked at the stage and saw the body on stage again I immediately decided another thing.
"Also pick up the dead guys hat it should have a mechanism inside that allows the wearer to hypnotize people." this time I couldn't hold it in and bits of chunks and liquid spewed out my mouth. When they heard my commands they acted instantly, one of them picked up the hat and another picked up the purse containing 221, the rest made their way to the exit, I followed suite.
When we got far enough away I managed to pick up my thoughts and grabbed the hat.
"I'm going to release the people from the hypnosis when you hear them scream we wait until they force their way in and we knock them out, we cant kill them" as soon as I said that I put on the hat and released everyone from the hypnosis. Almost instantly people screamed so loud my ears began to buzz. hearing these screams the cops at the back rushed in and were instantly hit by the butt of the guards gun and the other 2 had 5 guns pointed at them. We made our way out and they were knocked out. As soon as we were out we tactically retreated. The guards at the front realizing it was barricaded made their way to the back and made contact with us.
"Shoot at the ground near them to keep them from shooting us" The commander of the guards said. Shots whizzed to the cops but none were aimed to kill, still they were to afraid to test their luck and peak the corner. We crossed the gap my heart beating out of my chest. When we made it across we saw some cars and booked it to them. The guards kept shooting behind us keeping the cops at bay as we made our escape, by now they would have moved up to the straight we were at.
We finally made it to the cars and the guards expertly hotwired the car and we made our escape shots whizzing at us and even hitting close to the wheels as we drove off. I asked for the guards walkie talkie and radioed a message across the channel.
"Split it up and if you get caught you know what to do." The adrenaline coursing through me would make any adrenaline junkie blush. If they did get caught it would be a loss especially this early in the Foundations life in this multiverse, but I didn't care right now everything in my body was telling me to run and survive and worry about the consequences later.
