"Goodbye." The old man ruffled his grandson's platinum silver-white hair,
still finding it peculiar despite living with him for a few years now.
"Take care, Grandpa."
His grandpa smiled and left.
Watching his grandfather's back disappear, the young man exited the house,
locked it, and walked away. He made his way to a secluded corner of the street.
His features began to shift seamlessly.
Using [Lust], an [Authority] Shiro obtained from the [Re:Zero] world after
killing Capella Emerada Lugunica—a disrespectful little girl with a
twisted sense of humor and a horrible personality. She tried to turn him into a
fly, so Shiro turned her into dust.
The six-year-old boy transformed into a sixteen-year-old teenager.
It had been six years since Shiro sent a part of his consciousness into the
[Cycle of Reincarnation] using a special technique called [Parallel
Reincarnation], which allowed that consciousness to be born into a new soul.
Think of it as a [Game].
As a precaution, Shiro granted his [Parallel Reincarnation] the [Lust] as a
cheat to ensure it wouldn't die prematurely—this was, after all, the first test
run of [Parallel Reincarnation]. Regardless of how powerful his main body was,
his [Parallel Reincarnation] was merely a not-so-ordinary [Human], so granting
it [Lust] was perfectly reasonable.
Initially, Shiro had wanted to travel across worlds and dimensions using his
main body, believing he would fear almost nothing. However, reality was as
harsh as he had expected. His test run in the [Re:Zero] world had nearly caused
it to collapse.
Shiro's main body was so strong that the mere presence further enhanced by [Imaginary
Collapse] distorted the world's laws chaotically. Unlike the Cardinal World,
which housed a multitude of abnormally powerful beings and possessed a
self-sustaining energy filtration system—also known as the [Sacred Tree]—other
worlds lacked such safeguards.
The term 'World' here referred to an entire 'Universe' or 'Reality.'
Some worlds might have filtration systems, but Shiro doubted they were
strong enough to handle something like [Imaginary Collapse] and [Stardust].
Thankfully, the [Re:Zero] world was not a lesser world. If it had been any
other world, it might have collapsed instantaneously before Shiro could even
react.
In the end, he had to ask Ramiris for a favor to stabilize the [Re:Zero]
world's laws before total destruction ensued.
Despite his overwhelming power and ability to do as he pleased, Shiro still
couldn't bring himself to let innocent people suffer due to his
actions—directly or indirectly—unless, of course, they were his enemies.
Shiro wasn't a pushover.
Eventually, he settled on sending [Parallel Reincarnations] to different
dimensions and worlds as an alternative means of exploration.
"Much better." Shiro clenched his fist and stretched his body.
Looking up at the sky, he smirked eerily, as if amused by something.
The next moment, Shiro disappeared from his original spot, reappearing a few
kilometers away at a certain off-limits mountain temple.
Stepping out from the bushes, he took in the scene before him.
Houses and tiled floors lay in ruins, as if a disaster had just passed
through.
In truth, this was the aftermath of a battle between two humans—
Gojo Sayuri vs. Toji Fushiguro.
Yes, you heard it right—Sayuri.
In this [Universe], Gojo Satoru was female, and her name was Sayuri Gojo.
One day, while accompanying his grandpa on a shopping trip, Shiro noticed a
crowd murmuring about three eye-catching girls.
At first glance, he paid them no mind.
He had seen god-like beauty and perfection before, so a few human beauties
were nothing to him. However, after recognizing one of them—Shoko—Shiro
immediately pieced everything together.
He was currently in the Jujutsu Kaisen world—an alternate universe,
no less, where some of the male characters were female.
Since confirming the presence of Gojo's group, Shiro had been monitoring
them almost 24/7 using [Clairvoyance]
magic.
It was purely for intelligence-gathering.
Yes, only intelligence, nothing more nothing less.
Specifically regarding the Jujutsu Society.
Unfortunately, Shiro couldn't see [Cursed Spirits] at the moment.
If not for his instincts and perception—refined to the realm of
transcendence—detecting their faint presence would have been a hassle.
Now, Shiro stood before the mutilated body of Gojo Sayuri, supposedly
deceased.
Placing his hand on her chest, he examined her.
'Definitely a woman.'
Shiro closed his eyes and nodded in confirmation, as if uncovering the
secrets of the universe.
Setting aside the topic of Shiro confirming Gojo's gender, his hand began to
glow. It was a process of analyzing Gojo Sayuri's information.
Shiro's body morphed once again.
His golden eyes now bore a crystalline bluish radiance.
It was [Six Eyes].
Shiro waved his hand toward a nearby tree, and before his eyes, a ripple in
space passed through, obliterating the tree into smithereens.
It was [Limitless].
Satisfied, Shiro left Gojo Sayuri behind and headed straight for the Tomb of
the Stars, where his next target awaited.
As he leisurely walked through the dimly lit passageway, he came across a
body.
Kneeling before it, he felt for a pulse but found none.
He gave a silent prayer.
The corpse belonged to Kuroi—Riko Amanai's maid and only family.
Shiro was about to stand up and leave when he hesitated.
His conscience urged him to lend a hand.
Sighing, Shiro pulled out a necklace containing ten gems pulsating with
powerful, pure positive energy.
It was an artifact he had personally crafted.
The embedded gems weren't ordinary—they were condensed and materialized
spiritrons formed using [Holy Ark].
Raising one of the brightly glowing gems, Shiro used it as a medium to cast
[Holy Magic: Miracle-Level: Resurrection] on Kuroi.
Originally, Shiro had no intention of interfering with this world's affairs
unless directly involved.
He had planned to take advantage of events, reaping benefits without much
hassle.
Unfortunately, his kindness won over apathy—for now, at least.
He couldn't just leave her like that after resurrecting her. So, he stored
her inside his [Imaginary Space: Everlasting Paradise], accessible through his
ring, the [Star Heart Ring]—another artifact of his own creation.
Seeing light at the end of the tunnel, Shiro heard the sounds of battle.
The fight between Toji Fushiguro and Geto Suguha was underway.
Ignoring them, Shiro appeared before the corpse of Riko Amanai, resurrected
her, and placed her in his imaginary space beside Kuroi.
Then, he hid in a corner using [Formhide], a Battlewill Technique that
completely erased his presence.
As the battle ended, Toji spared Geto Suguha, leaving her unconscious.
He didn't want to deal with a horde of Cursed Spirits should they burst out
of Geto Suguha's body upon death.
Arriving at where Riko Amanai's body should have been, Toji saw nothing—only
the bloodstained floor.
After looking around briefly and finding nothing, he reluctantly left,
concluding that Master Tengen must have taken Riko Amanai's body.
Meanwhile, Shiro appeared before the unconscious Geto Suguha.
He grabbed her chest.
'Definitely female.'
Shiro closed his eyes and nodded in approval.
"It should be a C, borderline D—just slightly bigger than Gojo's."
As with Gojo Sayuri, Shiro copied Geto Suguha's [Cursed Spirit Manipulation]
using [Lust]'s power of [Transmutation & Transfiguration].
Since the soul and body in Jujutsu Kaisen were one and the same,
copying [Innate Cursed Techniques] using [Lust] from Re:Zero was as
simple as eating.
The only limit was his capacity.
Unlike Yuta, who had Rika as a storage medium, Shiro lacked such a resource,
limiting him to three Innate Cursed Techniques. His current human body wouldn't
be able to handle the strain otherwise. The only reason he could manage three
was thanks to the [Authority of Lust].
But that didn't dampen his mood.
He had no desperate need for additional skills and techniques.
His absurd arsenal of [Magic] and [Techniques] was already more than
sufficient.
Adding [Limitless], [Six Eyes], and [Cursed Spirit Manipulation] was just to
satisfy his whims.
