Chapter 192: Forgot There's Another One

Deva Path Pain was just a corpse—it didn't know fatigue or pain. His greatest weakness truly might be the cooldown period of Shinra Tensei.

Upon hearing the strategy proposed by the Fourth Raikage, Uchiha Dali couldn't help but glance curiously at Deva Path Pain.

He wanted to see exactly how this guy planned to handle the combined assault from the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee.

At that moment, the Fourth Raikage had already activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode and shot forward like a bolt of lightning, launching a fierce attack toward Deva Path Pain.

The latter clearly understood their intent and simply stood his ground, facing the approaching lightning without making a move.

Meanwhile, Killer Bee looped around to the side, poised to dodge any counterattack and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

As the distance between the two sides rapidly closed, Deva Path Pain finally raised his hands.

But this time, both hands moved at once—his left palm aimed at the Fourth Raikage, and his right at Killer Bee.

"What?"

The Fourth Raikage's expression darkened the moment he saw this.

He instantly realized that this terrifying move of the enemy's might not be as simple as it had first appeared.

Sure enough, Deva Path Pain decisively activated Shinra Tensei—simultaneously with both hands.

The Shinra Tensei from his left hand was the familiar frontal blast, unleashing overwhelming repulsive force in every direction, giving the Fourth Raikage no chance to dodge, forcing him to take it head-on.

The right-hand Shinra Tensei, however, seemed to have grown eyes, precisely locking onto Killer Bee.

Before Killer Bee could react, he was struck again by the invisible but immense repulsive force.

At nearly the same moment, the Fourth Raikage was hit as well.

The two brothers once again flew backward like kites with broken strings.

This time, Killer Bee even coughed up a bit of blood, and the Raikage's once-blazing blue-and-white Lightning Chakra Armor had noticeably dimmed.

It seemed Deva Path Pain had won again.

However, Uchiha Dali could clearly sense that the chakra being used to control Deva Path Pain—Nagato's chakra—had been heavily depleted.

At this point, Nagato no longer had the strength to launch a follow-up attack.

Otherwise, the outcome for the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee might have been far worse.

Nagato and Konan were hiding in the southern mountains just outside the Hidden Cloud Village, less than three kilometers away.

Using Observation Haki, Uchiha Dali overheard their conversation.

Konan, sounding concerned, said to Nagato, "Nagato, you've used too much chakra. Let's end this here. They should have already succeeded on their side."

Because she couldn't see the battlefield, Konan didn't know that Uchiha Dali had already appeared in the Hidden Cloud Village.

She naturally assumed their people had succeeded in capturing both the Eight-Tails and the Two-Tails.

Nagato coughed a few times before responding, "I'm afraid we've failed. Uchiha Dali showed up, and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki has returned to the Hidden Cloud. He's currently fighting Deva Path alongside the Fourth Raikage…"

He coughed again after speaking.

Konan's expression changed slightly. "Uchiha Dali is there? Then the Two-Tails…"

"We don't know yet. That's why I must eliminate the Fourth Raikage and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki now. I'm going to use that technique."

As he spoke, Nagato began forming hand seals and channeling more chakra into the Deva Path.

"Are you really going to do this?"

Konan looked at him anxiously, but Nagato said nothing.

All she could do was stand there with a worried expression.

Uchiha Dali's heart stirred. "The Two-Tails… Right, how did I forget about her?"

"Besides the Eight-Tails, the Hidden Cloud also has the Two-Tails…"

He glanced at the still-fighting Raikage and Killer Bee. At this moment, the Deva Path had slowly floated into the air again.

Not only that, he had once more spread both arms wide.

That move—far too familiar.

The opening stance for the Super Shinra Tensei. If he used that move, the entire Hidden Cloud Village would be wiped out.

Uchiha Dali himself didn't care, really. As long as the Raikage and Killer Bee came to understand just how powerful and unbeatable the enemy was, that was enough.

That way, perhaps they'd stop foolishly resisting Konoha.

But right now, Uchiha Dali didn't have the time to admire the upcoming battle.

He had to go rescue the Two-Tails Jinchuriki.

Spreading out his Observation Haki, he carefully searched the area, and soon detected several distinctive chakra signatures about seven kilometers away.

One of them was massive—almost certainly from a tailed beast. He judged it was most likely the Two-Tails Jinchuriki of the Hidden Cloud.

The other chakra signatures were also strong—at minimum above elite jonin level, possibly Kage-tier.

Among them, three were very familiar.

In his mind, Uchiha Dali immediately pictured their faces.

The first chakra signature belonged to Orochimaru.

They had already met before.

Back when Shimura Danzo's assassination attempt on him failed, Orochimaru had been lurking in the shadows, planning to attack Uchiha Dali. But in the end, he fled—an admittedly wise choice.

The second signature was Uchiha Obito. This guy had clearly retreated from the depths of the Thundercloud Gorge.

At the time, Dali hadn't fought him directly because Obito's intangibility ability was too troublesome. A prolonged fight would've been pointless—rescuing Killer Bee was more important.

The third chakra signature came from the fused form of Zetsu.

Dali had only recently encountered this being, so he remembered its chakra signature clearly.

There was also a fourth, unfamiliar chakra signature, but it was definitely another member of the Akatsuki.

Four against one—any of them alone could easily overpower the Two-Tails Jinchuriki.

It looked like the fight was already over.

Not daring to delay and risk the enemy escaping, Uchiha Dali instantly used the advanced Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport to the enemy's location.

Just as he had predicted, Uchiha Obito was preparing to use Kamui to warp away with everyone and the Two-Tails Jinchuriki.

Suddenly, they were intercepted by Uchiha Dali.

The moment he appeared out of nowhere, the other powerful figures tensed up immediately.

Orochimaru's pupils narrowed slightly. "What a troublesome guy showed up… Hehe."

"Uchiha Dali, was this really necessary?" Obito said darkly.

"This kid is Uchiha Dali?" Sasori of the Red Sand squinted, studying Dali intently.

The fused Zetsu, as always, was more cowardly—half its body had already sunk into the ground, clearly ready to bolt at any moment.

"Put the girl down, and you can all leave."

Uchiha Dali didn't waste any words and stated his demand outright.
