Chapter 251 - Chapter 251: Quickly Think of a Way to Notify the Fourth Hokage

Chapter 251: Quickly Think of a Way to Notify the Fourth Hokage

Inside the village, Uzumaki Nagato and Yahiko, who were guarding the nine Tailed Beasts and the jinchūriki, stood at a vantage point watching the battle between Uchiha Madara and the three Uchiha in the distance.

When they saw Uchiha Shisui—the strongest fighter of the Uchiha clan—instantly defeated by a single move from Madara, everyone's expression grew grim.

"Nagato, you should retreat," Konan urged with concern.

Uchiha Madara's strength was overwhelming. The three Uchiha standing against him had little chance of holding him back.

Nagato also sensed the danger but ignored Konan's suggestion.

"If I leave now, Madara will seize the nine Tailed Beasts. Until Lord Dali returns, we must hold this position. We absolutely cannot let Madara succeed."

He spoke with firm resolve.

Konan frowned, remaining silent, while Yahiko stepped forward to stand shoulder to shoulder with Nagato. "Don't worry. No matter what happens, we'll face it together."

"But… is there still no way to find the Fourth Hokage's whereabouts?" Yahiko asked.

Nagato shook his head. "I tried. Within my sensory range, I can't detect even the slightest trace of his chakra."

At that moment, a Konoha barrier team ninja leapt over and landed beside them. "The barrier has been set up, everyone."

"Leave this place to me. You should go and support them," Nagato told the others in the Konoha Anbu.

But the squad captain shook his head firmly. "Lord Fugaku's orders were for us to assist you here."

"That level of battle is beyond us," Yahiko interjected. "Even if they go, they won't make much difference."

Everyone fell silent, their eyes fixed on the distant battlefield atop the mountain outside Konoha where figures clashed.

Uchiha Fugaku summoned Susanoo again, pouring out his strength in a desperate attempt to restrain Madara. Meanwhile, Uchiha Obito relied on Kamui—an ability nearly invincible—to harass Madara, searching for an opening to strike.

Together, they barely managed to hold Madara back. And that was only because Madara was still testing their abilities.

Moments later, once he had gauged their powers, Madara let out a cold snort and unleashed his true strength. His speed and power were now on a completely different level.

In an instant, Fugaku's Susanoo was blown apart once more.

Two consecutive uses of Susanoo placed enormous strain on Fugaku. His chakra was already more than half depleted, yet he still hadn't managed to harm Madara in the slightest.

"It seems I'll have to use a sealing jutsu…"

Obito glanced at the gravely injured Namikaze Minato being carried away by Konoha Anbu for treatment.

At the same time, he noticed Kakashi and others arriving.

But against Madara, soaring through the sky and attacking from above, none of the Konoha shinobi could intervene—they could only watch helplessly.

"We must find the Fourth Hokage and inform him of what's happening here! With just our power, we cannot stop this man!"

After repeated failed attempts to attack Madara, Fugaku reached his conclusion.

The enemy before them was far beyond their ability to face.

Only Uchiha Dali might be able to confront such a foe. As for them, they were nothing but cannon fodder.

"The communications unit is already working on it!" Kakashi shouted back as he rushed up.

He also cast a glance at Obito.

At that moment, Madara struck again, kicking Fugaku so hard that his body shot away like a cannonball.

"Ants, don't get in my way—or die!"

Madara swept his gaze over the Konoha shinobi who had just arrived: Kakashi, Might Guy, Hyūga Hiashi, Akimichi Chōza, and others. To him, none were worth mentioning—he could slaughter them at will.

"Kakashi! Use the barrier to seal him!" Obito yelled.

But his words doomed Kakashi. In that instant, Madara's sharp eyes had already noticed Kakashi's left eye.

It was the Sharingan Obito had once given him. When Obito awakened his Mangekyō, Kakashi's left eye awakened as well.

Obito had never tried to take it back—not even after returning to Konoha and reconciling with everyone. It remained his gift to Kakashi.

But because of that, his own Mangekyō was incomplete, leaving him far weaker.

More importantly, Madara's piercing gaze instantly recognized that Kakashi's left Mangekyō matched Obito's.

"I see… so your left eye is with that boy. Perfect."

Madara had been vexed over how to counter Obito's Kamui, an ability practically untouchable. But now, he had found his answer.

With that thought, he dove straight toward Kakashi.

Seeing this, Obito's expression hardened. "Kakashi! Watch out!"

Kakashi also knew how dire this was. But against such a terrifying foe, he had no time to dodge—let alone resist.

In the blink of an eye, before Kakashi even registered Madara's movements, his left eye's vision went dark.

Madara withdrew, and Kakashi finally felt the pain in his left eye. Instinctively covering it, he looked up to see Madara slotting Obito's eye into his own socket.

The moment he obtained it, Madara instantly grasped all of the eye's abilities.

A smirk curled his lips. "So that's how it is. Quite an interesting power."

Without hesitation, he activated Kamui and warped himself away, vanishing before their eyes.

"You okay, Kakashi?" Obito asked, still concerned for him, not realizing the danger awaiting himself.

But Kakashi's keen battle instincts had already pieced it together.

He looked up sharply. "Obito! Watch out! That man has your eye now!!"

But his warning came a step too late.
