Chapter 305 - Chapter 304: The First Sekirei

"I can't believe I never thought of such a simple solution before! What a failure I am!"

Stepping out from the World Ring and strolling down the busy street, Goku shook his head with a self-mocking sigh. "Guess I was too busy chasing girls to think straight. That won't do! Definitely won't do!"

A light breeze brushed past, carrying a faint scent of alcohol to his nose. Turning his head, Goku noticed a mature woman sitting alone on a bench under the shade of a tree.

Her long legs were half-hidden beneath a loose white kimono, and the casual drape of her clothes only served to highlight her curvaceous, graceful figure.

She sat there drinking alone, eyes empty and distant, her whole demeanor steeped in a sense of despair—like a soul abandoned by the world, lonely and hollow.

"What a waste," Goku muttered, shaking his head. "A beauty like that, drowning herself in booze and loneliness…"

But then he paused. His expression shifted slightly. "Wait—her energy… it's not human. She's a Sekirei. If I remember right… she must be Akitsu—the Sekirei who was abandoned by MBI because her power was too overwhelming for any Ashikabi to handle."

Though it had been decades since he last thought about this world's storyline, someone of Goku's level could easily recall every event down to the finest detail.

"Akitsu, huh? A classic kuudere—cold, quiet, mature type. Rare find, that one. Can't just leave her to Minato…"

He stroked his nonexistent beard thoughtfully, then smirked. "Heh. Just my luck. First day in this world, and I run into a top-tier beauty sitting here waiting for me."

He approached with a gentle tone that almost felt divine. "Such a fine woman shouldn't look so lost. If something's troubling you… you can tell me."

To Akitsu, that voice felt different—warm, soft, and impossibly kind. For someone like her, whose heart had long been frozen over, that warmth seeped through like sunlight melting snow.

She lifted her head slightly, her dull eyes meeting Goku's. For a moment, she froze.

"Who… are you?" Her voice trembled. And then, suddenly, the Sekirei mark on her forehead began to burn like fire. Her breathing quickened, her pulse raced.

'Impossible… He can't be… my Ashikabi? No, that's not possible. I'm a discarded Sekirei. I was never meant to have one…'

"My name's Goku," he said with a soft smile. "And yours?"

"…Akitsu."

"Akitsu, huh? Beautiful name," he said warmly. "But tell me, why are you sitting here alone, looking so lost?"

"I… have nowhere to go."

Her gaze fell again, the dim light in her eyes flickering weakly. She looked utterly desolate, as though she had been forgotten by the entire world.

"No home, huh?" Goku smiled faintly. "Then from now on… let me be your home."

"My… home?" Her voice was dazed. "You… would take in a discarded Sekirei like me? You'd… be my Ashikabi?"

"Forget all that talk about Sekirei and Ashikabi," he said lightly, drawing her close. "Just let me mark you as mine."

Before she could respond, Goku leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

The moment their lips touched, a blinding light flared from Akitsu's Sekirei crest. From her back burst two magnificent white wings, ethereal and pure.

A roaring gust of icy wind erupted outward, freezing the air itself. Within a hundred meters, the street turned into a realm of frost and glittering snow.

Akitsu—the Sekirei who was said to never be capable of winging—had finally ascended. But then again, what could be impossible for Goku?

Watching her transformation, he smiled softly. At last, he had his first Sekirei.

And with that, the strongest Ashikabi in history was born.

When the light faded, Akitsu looked at her hands in disbelief. "I… I've been winged. I actually have an Ashikabi…"

"From this moment on," Goku said, his eyes calm and steady, "everything you are belongs to me."

"Yes… Master!"

Akitsu dropped to one knee before him, voice trembling but resolute.

Meanwhile, inside the towering MBI headquarters, the CEO, Hiroto Minaka, stared at the surveillance screen in shock.

"Fascinating… utterly fascinating," he muttered with a sinister smile. "A Sekirei that was officially discarded, somehow winged…? What kind of man could accomplish that? Seems there's still more to the Sekirei system than I thought. Hehehe… this could be quite the interesting experiment."

---

Back on the streets, Akitsu followed quietly behind Goku. She said nothing; she didn't need to. Wherever he went, she followed—silent, loyal, and devoted.

"It should be around here…" Goku murmured, glancing around a quiet alleyway. "Yep, just about right."

"Heh… target acquired," came a mocking voice from behind.

"Oh?" Goku turned, smiling faintly. "A Sekirei and Ashikabi challenge, is it?"

Before him stood a young boy—couldn't have been more than sixteen—with his Sekirei beside him. She was a small, tomboyish girl with cropped hair and a cool, almost masculine charm.

Of course, that wasn't Goku's type.

Out of the 108 Sekirei, there were only a handful of male types—but far more busty, mature women. Unfortunately, this one wasn't either.

He scratched his head. "Tch. What a bother…"

Turning to Akitsu, he said flatly, "Finish this quickly. I don't have time for games."

"Yes, Master."

Her tone was calm, her expression serene. She stepped forward and bowed slightly. "I am Sekirei No.7—Akitsu. Please, let's begin."

"Akitsu? The discarded Sekirei? How—how can you have an Ashikabi?!"

Shock filled the opposing Sekirei's face. After all, Akitsu's inability to wing was legendary. Even Minaka himself had declared it final.

"I am No.7 Akitsu," she repeated coldly. "Please, let's begin."

Frost began to spread from her feet. Within moments, the temperature in the alley plummeted.

Goku watched with a small smile—she was far stronger now than before her winging. He'd even held back part of his power during the process; otherwise, she'd have been unstoppable.

Her opponent drew a dark spear, energy swirling around it. "I am No.48, Uehara! Prepare yourself!"

"Ah, great," Goku sighed. "Why do the cool-looking ones always turn out to be girls? Just my luck. Akitsu, make it quick."

"Yes, Master."

Her tone sharpened, her aura flaring with deadly chill.

Ice spires burst from the ground, lunging toward Uehara like blades.

"Tch!" Uehara swung her spear in a sweeping arc, shattering the frozen spikes. Then she leapt forward, lunging straight at Akitsu's chest.

But Akitsu didn't even blink.

With a single hand seal, she summoned a wall of ice—instant and absolute. The next moment, Uehara was frozen solid, encased in a clear block of ice.

It was over in seconds.

"Uehara!" the young boy cried out, running to her side in despair. "No…!"

"Pathetic," Goku said coldly. "You pick fights you can't win, and now you cry about the result. You had your chance."

He turned away, taking Akitsu's soft hand. "Let's go. I've had enough drama for today."

"Yes, Master."

They walked on, down a muddy side street, until an old, crumbling house came into view.

Inside, a small figure trembled in the shadows. Goku sighed, rubbing his temples. "Seriously? If you're going to hide, at least hide all of yourself."

The girl—who had only managed to conceal half her body—tried to press herself deeper into the corner. Unfortunately, from his angle, her raised hips made the sight… rather suggestive.

He coughed. "Ahem. Focus, Goku. Focus."

"Hey! You can stop hiding now," he said, exasperated. "We can see you."

"Ah! You found me?! No, no, please—don't kill me!"

Her soft, trembling voice was laced with panic and fear. But before she could say another word, a startled yelp escaped her lips.
