"Why are you not looking at me? Why do you look in pain, Andrew? Where are you hurt?"
Elio's words broke the silence in the room as he stared at Andrew with worry, his eyes scanning his body for any wound. But Andrew kept his gaze fixed on Elio's wound, unable to look at him because he didn't think he could control himself if he gazed at him.
The fact that Elio was worried about him when he was the one in pain made his chest tighten. His emotions intensified, his eyes burned, his heart ached, and his throat tightened with the weight of it all.
Elio, on the other side, had been dying to see Andrew right after he woke up. He was afraid, wondering if anything had happened to Andrew after he lost his consciousness. He wanted to check on him to see if he was safe. He just wanted to see him.
