Matthew turned toward Nicholas and glared at him but still remained unflinching and insane as he muttered, his eyes sharp,
"Don't be so confident, Nicholas. Just because I'm held at gunpoint and the tide has turned doesn't mean you have won."
"Oh." Elio drawled, a slow and unsettling smile curved into his lips. "We did win, though."
They did. They really did the moment Andrew escaped Matthew's clasp. And now that there was nothing binding them who could stop them.
"Move," Nicholas ordered. "Wipe out every single one of them and carry out your task."
