After a long silence, Anthony placed the handset back on its cradle and summoned Caroline to his office. She had been expecting the call, so it did not take long for her to arrive.
"Please, sit."
Caroline took the chair opposite him. Anthony gathered his thoughts, then said, "The special division will provide the MI5 team with some information. From what I overheard during my conversation with His Majesty, they will release details strictly according to protocol. I believe the King deliberately left the line open so that I could hear his exchange with the special division. From the tone alone, it was clear that His Majesty himself treats this division with a certain respect. He did not even bother to look up your application. He called them directly and instructed them to release the information."
He paused, then asked, "What do you make of it?"
