Chapter 40 - Chapter 40

"Silence!"

Over two hundred Saiyans had gathered on Planet Kashya. High above them, in midair, floated a woman with an imposing aura—Raiga. Her cold, sharp gaze swept across the gathered Saiyans below.

A crushing sense of pressure suddenly descended upon them, gripping their chests. The oppressive force came from the sky itself, forcing every Saiyan into silence. They instinctively looked up, their faces paling as they beheld Raiga's domineering presence.

"I am Raiga, an Elite Warrior."

Raiga introduced herself, her eyes scanning the group. The Saiyans below dared not speak, awed by the sheer strength she exuded. Seeing their reaction, she gave a satisfied nod.

"I know you all have many questions, but shut your mouths. I don't have time to answer each and every one of them. The only reason you are here is because I refuse to let the Saiyan bloodline vanish completely from the universe."

Her tone was harsh, unyielding. "Planet Vegeta has been destroyed. You are among the few survivors. From now on, you will live on this planet. There is plenty of food and water, enough for you to survive."

"The destruction of Planet Vegeta happened because we were not strong enough. I want you to burn that shame into your hearts. It was our weakness that allowed others in the universe to attack us, nearly wiping out the proud Saiyan race."

"Most of you are low-class warriors. Some of you may never even reach a power level of 1,000. But as long as the Saiyan bloodline continues to exist, there is still hope."

Her eyes suddenly gleamed with a chilling light. A cruel expression settled on her face as she continued, "However, let me be clear—internal conflict will not be tolerated. That is the first and absolute rule. Anyone who breaks it will be executed on the spot! Don't think I'm joking. If you're here, you will obey. If you resist, be prepared to die."

"Now, whether you agree or not is irrelevant. From this moment on, you will follow orders. The Saiyan race is in a precarious situation. Every adult Saiyan will be responsible for training the younger ones. No matter what, you will ensure that the young Saiyans grow into warriors."

Raiga radiated authority, standing high above like a queen ruling over her subjects. Her overwhelming presence was suffocating, making it impossible for those below to even lift their heads.

The gathered Saiyans, raised in a culture that revered strength, could feel the sheer power emanating from Raiga. Though she appeared young, her strength far surpassed theirs.

With her elite warrior status and undeniable strength, resistance quickly faded from the Saiyans' hearts. One by one, they accepted her command without protest.

Following Raiga's orders, the Saiyans began constructing a settlement. The adults took the lead in training the younger ones. Everything proceeded in an orderly manner.

Watching the scene unfold, Herz chuckled and said to Rolan, "Your sister has the natural presence of a leader. Back on Planet Vegeta, she was already recognized as a genius. If the planet hadn't been destroyed, she would have achieved great things."

Rolan nodded in agreement.

Though Raiga was cold and detached by nature, her presence was undeniable. She was ruthless, and anyone standing beside her would feel immense pressure.

Her talent was on par with Prince Vegeta's. Normally, a Saiyan of her caliber would have been seen as a threat by King Vegeta. However, she had survived, likely because she was a female.

For a female warrior of such high caliber, King Vegeta may have had plans for her future.

But now, none of that mattered.

Watching Raiga command the Saiyans from the sky, Rolan thought to himself: It's a good thing Planet Vegeta was destroyed.

After ensuring that the Saiyans had settled in, Raiga turned to Rolan and Herz. "Let's go. We're heading back to Planet Flei. These people can fend for themselves."

"You're just going to leave them?" Rolan asked.

Raiga smirked faintly. "I barely have enough time for my own training. Why should I waste my energy on them? Let them live or die as they will."

Rolan rolled his eyes. "You were so passionate earlier. I thought you were going to take them under your wing."

Raiga shrugged. "I have no interest in that. These low-class warriors will be lucky to reach a power level of a few thousand. Why would I bother? Besides, who knows what they really think? Let's observe them for a few years before making any decisions."

Herz shrugged indifferently. "As long as the Saiyan bloodline continues, their strength doesn't matter much."

Rolan mentally scoffed. There's a low-class warrior on Earth who will one day become a Super Saiyan.

Of course, Raiga and Herz had no way of knowing the future. They couldn't foresee that a low-class warrior named Kakarot would one day surpass even the elite warriors, reaching heights unimaginable to them.

For Saiyans, potential was largely determined by their initial battle power and later training. But training methods played an even bigger role.

Son Goku and Vegeta repeatedly shattered their limits and became Super Saiyans—not simply because of their bloodline or training in gravity chambers.

Gravity training helped, but many planets in the universe had intense gravity, and Saiyans had encountered them before without significant growth.

What truly propelled Goku forward was his mastery of advanced martial arts. From childhood, he trained under Master Roshi, then learned from Korin, Kami, and King Kai. More importantly, he possessed a pure heart, allowing him to focus entirely on his training. Each step built upon the last, forming a solid foundation that enabled him to surpass his limits.

Vegeta, on the other hand, was a born genius with unparalleled combat intuition. Through his battles with Goku, he quickly grasped the essence of "ki" manipulation.

Such talent was rare among the Saiyans of Planet Vegeta.

In truth, most Saiyans weren't particularly exceptional. To them, the Super Saiyan transformation was nothing more than a legend. Few had the drive to push beyond their limits like Goku and Vegeta. For the majority, a power level of ten thousand was the ceiling. Beyond that required specialized training.

Without proper training methods, even if they had access to gravity chambers, ordinary Saiyans could never replicate Goku's miraculous growth.

Not every Saiyan was destined to become a Super Saiyan.

Some argued that the Saiyan race only seemed powerful because of Goku and Vegeta's feats. Rolan found this perspective unfair. From what he had seen, Saiyans did have great potential.

At the very least, their natural physical strength and Great Ape transformation made them superior to many other races in the universe.

With that settled, Raiga and Herz felt relieved. Their mission of preserving the Saiyan bloodline was complete. They had no intention of interfering further.

Rolan considered organizing the Saiyans into a proper force, but knowing his own strength was still too weak, he chose to remain in the shadows.

Leaving the two hundred Saiyans on Planet Kashya, the three of them vanished in a flash of light, returning to Planet Flei to resume their training in peace.
