Chapter 298 - Chapter 298: Robin

"Little sister, what brings you here today? Is there something you need to discuss with your brother?" Sunday gently stroked the girl's head, gazing at his flawless younger sister with a touch of melancholy in his heart.

He couldn't help but wonder—which lucky bastard would end up with someone as perfect as Robin in the future?

"Nothing in particular," Robin shook her head. "I just thought you've been working too hard lately, so I came to check on you."

"Thank you, little sister. I'm fine," Sunday smiled faintly, though a trace of exhaustion flickered in his eyes. "It's just that with the Harmony Festival approaching and today's incident, the Family has been under a lot of pressure."

"Brother, about today's matter..." Robin hesitated. Though she held a distinguished position within the Family, she rarely involved herself in political affairs. Speaking up now might be considered improper etiquette.

"The near-collapse of the Dreamscape still has no solid leads. The Hound Bloodline is continuing their investigation."

"Is there... anything I can do to help?" Robin placed a hand over her chest, her light green jade-like eyes filled with hopeful anticipation.

Seeing this, Sunday couldn't help but smile.

"Yes, actually. There is something you can assist with."

"Oh? The Family is holding a new concert at Clockie Studios Theme Park, and the lead singer is... Robin? Hah, I definitely have to see this."

Yun Fan looked at the promotional billboard that had practically floated into his view, his face lighting up with interest. In the storyline, Robin was a world-renowned singer, the pride of the Harmony Family.

It was said that every one of her concerts was sold out, with tickets becoming impossibly scarce—scalpers even drove the few remaining ones to astronomical prices.

"Compensation for the frightened tourists, huh? Heh, the Family sure knows how to handle things." Yun Fan chuckled and shook his head. Compensating so many guests with credits would undoubtedly cost a fortune. But using a concert as compensation? That only required some manpower and resources—far more economical than pure monetary reimbursement.

"I'll definitely have to check this out... and maybe find a chance to meet this lovely little songbird in person..."

The Xianzhou Luofu...

"Wow! The Xianzhou sure is amazing! That General Jing Yuan is so generous!"

After checking into the most luxurious hotel on the Luofu, March 7th threw herself onto the extravagant bed, reveling in the softness of the mattress and blankets, as well as the natural fragrance of the materials.

"This is the life..." March murmured dreamily.

Amused, Stelle shook her head before mimicking March's actions and flopping onto the bed as well.

"Ah! Stelle, you're crushing my hair—"

"Huh? March, what are you doing with your hands? Stop pinching me—"

"That's not my hand—"

"You think I'm stupid?"

The sound of the girls' playful banter filled the room. From a god's-eye view, it would have been a delightful spring scene. Alas, such a sight remains beyond my reach—and yours as well.

After their tussle, the two girls lay side by side on the luxurious bed, staring quietly at the ceiling. For a moment, neither knew what to say.

Breaking the silence, March spoke first.

"Hey, Stelle... do you have any dreams?"

"Dreams?" Stelle blinked, caught off guard by the question. She wasn't sure how to answer. Was she lost? Maybe a little. At the very least, she was uncertain about her past.

"My dream... is probably just... to keep living like this." Stelle gave a non-answer.

"Ugh, that's not a real dream..." March sighed, though her cheerful demeanor didn't waver. Instead, she eagerly shared her own aspirations.

"My dream is to recover my lost memories. Mr. Yang told me that when he and Sister Himeko found me, I was frozen in six-phase ice..."

March recounted her past, her cheeks flushing slightly by the end. "Stelle, have you ever thought about—"

"Zzz... zzz..."

The soft sound of snoring interrupted March mid-sentence. Her expression froze as she turned her head in disbelief.

The gray-haired girl who had been listening to her story just moments ago was now fast asleep. Her chest rose and fell gently with each breath, a satisfied smile on her lips—as if she were dreaming of something wonderful.

"Seriously... I poured my heart out for nothing. Well... goodnight, Stelle."

The next morning...

Knock knock knock...

The sound of knocking roused the two girls from their slumber. Rubbing their sleepy eyes, they quickly dressed.

"March, Stelle, the Sky-Faring Commission has sent an envoy to accompany us. We'll meet in the hotel lobby at nine o'clock."

Welt's steady voice came from outside the door. March glanced at the clock—it was already eight.

"Phew, still some time left. Stelle, let's freshen up and grab breakfast. Skipping meals makes you gain weight, you know."

One system hour later...

"Mr. Yang, we're here!"

In the hotel lobby, March 7th waved energetically at Welt from across the room before hurrying over with Stelle in tow.

"March, Stelle, let me introduce you. This is Qingni, the envoy and assistant sent by the Sky-Faring Commission." Welt gestured to the foxian lady beside him, who greeted them with a polite Xianzhou bow.

"Miss March, Miss Stelle, I'm Qingni. I'll be providing full assistance during your mission to apprehend the Stellaron Hunters."
