Sarah took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, heavily as their car left the facility. She didn't mind throwing away the hateful picture from her mother's stuff, but it left a strange taste in her mouth somehow.
She glanced at Hajin. "Too much?"
"We don't even know if the picture will affect her," Hajin replied nonchalantly. "And if it does, then it's deserved. She would have to work it out and acknowledge her sins first, which she had been avoiding. Once she kneels in front of your mother's grave, maybe she'll find peace."
"Kneels..."
Sarah blinked. Ah...she finally understood the source of the strange taste. While Mina was catching up with her karma, what Sarah eventually wanted was for the people who wronged her mother to grovel in front of her ashes. Somehow, along the way, she forgot about it.
She let Joseph meet his end abroad where no one knew him, and Mina was going crazy in denial. As for her father...
