Chapter 224 - Chapter 224: Fierce Battle

"Jio-Ken Ultimate Secret Art: Battle Preservation Fist!"

Since he was testing moves, Bellamy naturally had to use techniques he had never used before. The Battle Preservation Fist allowed him to mobilize a large amount of stored life force and release it rhythmically, achieving a temporary state of rejuvenation. In an ordinary fight, Bellamy would never use such a move, but against an Admiral or an Emperor, it would be useless anyway. With an enemy delivering herself to him, Bellamy didn't hesitate to test it out.

The amount of life force he had accumulated during this time was truly bottomless. When he unleashed it, the muscles all over his body instantly swelled up as if inflated.

"ROAR!"

With a roar of pain, the shirt on Bellamy's upper body exploded into fragments. Countless blue veins and blood vessels bulged, writhing like black lines across his muscle groups. In the blink of an eye, a five-meter-tall demonic muscleman stood in his place.

"What is this transformation?"

Wasn't this guy a Spring-Spring Fruit user? How could he transform? Was this an ability he had developed? The sheer presence and physical change were comparable to a Zoan transformation. The ability to transform was one of the greatest advantages Zoan-types had over other fruits. The world knew far too little about the Spring-Spring Fruit. After all, it was an extremely useless and seemingly weak fruit. Even the World Government had very few records of it. If not for Bellamy, the fruit might have remained in obscurity forever.

The aura Bellamy now projected was so overwhelming that Stussy subconsciously raised her guard to the absolute maximum. Getting hit by muscles that massive would not be pleasant.

As a master of CP0, Stussy naturally had her pride. The fact that she dared to stand her ground and continue fighting meant she had absolute confidence in her own abilities. Bellamy's style was clearly that of a brute—ferocious, domineering, and overwhelming. Stussy, on the other hand, was a practitioner of agility, emphasizing lightness, flexibility, and adaptability. The two styles countered each other, but which was stronger would ultimately depend on their respective combat skills.

"Iron Body: Utsugi!"

"Flying Finger Flintlock!"

Bellamy's transformation seemed to take a long time, but in reality, the moment his shirt exploded, their attacks were already flying toward each other. The speed of the Flying Finger Flintlock was comparable to a master swordsman's drawing cut. In a flash, the finger was about to strike Bellamy's throat.

But at the same time, having completed his transformation, Bellamy activated Iron Body and his full-body Armament Haki. Without even glancing at Stussy, he charged forward with brutish force.

This wasn't the first time Stussy had encountered such a fierce and unreasonable fighting style. The New World had plenty of physical powerhouses who, confident in their tough bodies, would often trade injuries. But this was the first time she had ever met someone who threw their vital points forward at the start of a battle.

"Is he looking down on me?"

If that was the case, Stussy couldn't be happier. The next second, her jet-black index finger struck Bellamy's throat. The fingertip, sharp as a sword, sank deep into his flesh. But before Stussy could feel a moment of joy, a domineering elastic force rebounded from her fingertip. If she hadn't coated it in Armament Haki, her finger would have been snapped in two. Even so, Stussy was now in a bad spot.

She had already rushed right in front of Bellamy, just as he was charging forward with unstoppable force. Stussy had dared to be so reckless because she had absolute confidence in her movement techniques.

Paper Drawing: Cicada Shell.

With a light tap of her toes in mid-air, her entire body seemed to become weightless and began to float. Bellamy's savage charge carried a massive gale, sweeping her along with it as she was pushed rapidly backward.

But as a member of CP0, Stussy seemed to have forgotten one thing: Bellamy was also a master of the Six Powers. Was it really a good idea to use Paper Drawing so carelessly in front of him? In a battle this intense, a single misstep could lead to total defeat.

Bellamy watched the figure floating rapidly before him, a flash of brutality in his eyes. In that instant, Stussy's Observation Haki jolted as she sensed something. But before she could react, Bellamy's figure vanished as if teleporting, suddenly reappearing behind her.

The moment his figure materialized, a deafening explosion erupted from his original position.

BOOM!

The instantaneous burst of speed was so fast that the very air around them distorted violently. Stussy only had time to let out a terrified shriek before Bellamy's massive hand grabbed her head and slammed it toward the ground.

"Gyahahahaha!"

"Enjoy this wonderful moment!" The woman's earlier finger strike had crushed Bellamy's throat, making his voice sharp and shrill.

As if dragging a corpse, Bellamy held the woman by her head and began to violently drag her across the Boin Archipelago. With his current size and strength, his rampage shook the very earth and changed the landscape of the forest. The entire island boiled under his fury. Drake and the others, training deep in the woods, were quickly alerted and went on high alert.

At this moment, a conspicuous hole was still visible in Bellamy's throat. Dark red blood slowly oozed from the wound. Even with his self-healing ability, he couldn't quickly close it. This showed just how severe the injury from that finger strike had been.

But Bellamy was no ordinary person. As long as he wasn't killed on the spot, such an injury was meaningless to him. Other physical fighters might dare to trade injury for injury, but Bellamy dared to trade his life for an injury.

Stussy's biggest mistake was trusting the intelligence reports too much. She had dared to strike with that one finger because the file clearly stated: Bellamy's Armament Haki is weak.

The CP intelligence department's analysis of Bellamy's combat power was, at best, from over six months ago. In that half-year, Bellamy's growth rate had far exceeded anyone's calculations. Under the cover of his Armament Haki, Stussy's would-be fatal blow had been forcibly weakened to a severe injury.

After that, the battle had fallen completely into his rhythm. Under his violent assault, if this woman couldn't come up with a countermeasure, then she could die.
