Chapter 227 - Chapter 227: Preparing to Leave

"If what you say is true, then this woman's identity is confirmed."

When Stussy first appeared, she had the face of a young woman. Although it was unclear how she managed to alter her appearance to look so young, the moment the fight started, her true form was exposed. Clearly, it wasn't a very robust method.

As for why a CP0 master would come to the Boin Archipelago, Bellamy guessed it had something to do with that miraculous liquid. It couldn't be that his location had been compromised, could it? If his whereabouts were known, she wouldn't have come alone. Why would she come alone? For a suicide mission?

This woman's strength was decent, but her most formidable ability was clearly that control power that ignored Armament Haki. In a true life-or-death battle, Bellamy felt that even Drake had a chance of killing her.

"Captain, what should we do with this woman?"

With the sudden appearance of a CP0 agent, they couldn't stay on this island any longer, regardless of how they dealt with her.

Bellamy's grip on Stussy's head tightened, and a massive force erupted from his palm, instantly blasting through her body. The moment the power was unleashed, he clearly felt the resistance in his hand weaken significantly. This was the moment he had been waiting for. With her Armament Haki desperately defending, her head had been surprisingly difficult to crush.

Bellamy focused all of his Armament Haki into his hand.

"Die!"

The jet-black hand squeezed shut. In that instant, the head in his palm burst like a rotten fruit.

Stussy, the Queen of the Pleasure District, died silently on the Boin Archipelago.

"Go check the coast. There should be a ship parked there," Bellamy ordered. "Take care of them."

The later the news of her death got out, the better for them.

"Yes, sir." Drake accepted the order and immediately rushed toward the coast.

"One month."

At most, the World Government would know something had happened to Stussy within a month. After that, it would take a warship about twenty days to reach this location to investigate. If they had personnel nearby, someone could be here to check the situation within a week.

Bellamy's original plan was to stay here for another three months before heading to the New World. The arrival of CP0 had clearly disrupted his schedule. Should he fight the World Government here again, or head directly to the New World to attack Dressrosa? Bellamy hesitated for a moment.

He was certainly happy to cause more trouble for the Celestial Dragons. But the New World was tied to his future path and was obviously more important than simply venting his anger. After some deliberation, Bellamy chose to modify his training plan. They had to leave the Boin Archipelago as soon as possible and set out for the New World.

Before that, he would try to help all of his crewmates forcibly awaken their Observation Haki. As for Armament Haki, after all this time, they had all managed to cultivate a little. Although it was only a small amount, it was the difference between having it and not. With this seed, as long as they continued to channel their vital energy, their Armament Haki would slowly grow. Whether they could awaken Observation Haki or not would depend on their own resolve.

So far, all members of the Bellamy Pirates, except for the newly joined Heracles, had mastered the Six Powers. Even if they weren't proficient and had only mastered one or two moves, after half a year of hard work, they had finally learned all six techniques. Theoretically, learning Paper Drawing provided a certain bonus to awakening Observation Haki. Moreover, they had a fortunate encounter in one of the Four Blues that had significantly boosted their spiritual energy.

Bellamy couldn't say for sure that everyone would awaken their Observation Haki—the chances were slim—but he would be satisfied if even one or two of them succeeded. Mastering two forms of Haki and the Six Powers was enough to be considered a notable figure in the New World. If they continued down this path, it wouldn't be impossible for them to become squad commanders in an Emperor's crew.

And to think, these people were originally just ordinary civilians. The weakest of them, Ross, had been nothing more than a small-time thug who did nothing but drink and brag all day. If they hadn't met Bellamy, they might never have picked up a weapon in their entire lives.

"Ah, couldn't you have come a little later?"

What a headache.

Bellamy casually tossed her body into the bottomless pit beside him.

"It's fine. My own strength has started to hit a bottleneck recently anyway."

Simple training could no longer provide Bellamy with significant improvement, and developing and modifying his Devil Fruit abilities was extremely complex, not something that could be done in a day or two. In that case, there was no harm in heading to the New World a bit earlier. It was just that his crew's strength was still a little low. The risk of them falling when they attacked Dressrosa was very high.

The Bellamy Pirates had been founded less than three years ago. Asking them to go up against the Donquixote Family was indeed asking a lot. Furthermore, his crew now had too many Devil Fruit users. If they encountered a disaster at sea, the risk of being wiped out was extremely high. Bellamy had to find a way to get some insurance as soon as possible.

The weather in the New World was even more absurd than in the first half of the Grand Line. Raining fire was just an appetizer in the New World. Bellamy wouldn't be surprised to encounter spatial rifts or temporal storms there. After all, he had once been to the end of the New World and had seen that ridiculously huge whirlpool with his own eyes. The spatio-temporal order of this world was definitely flawed.

First, there was the absurdly powerful Time-Time Fruit, which allowed one to travel freely from the past to the future. Such a power would undoubtedly have a massive impact on the order of time and space. Then there were all sorts of incomprehensible black technologies. In short, going to the New World meant they could no longer be as casual as they were now.

A good ship was something they desperately needed. Water 7 happened to have many top-tier shipwrights, and their route to the New World would definitely take them past the Sabaody Archipelago. Water 7 was only a few hundred nautical miles from Sabaody, a stone's throw away. This time, Bellamy was determined to make a trip there and steal a good ship.

If he could run into Franky along the way, that would be even better. The shipwright currently had nowhere to go. The CP9 chief, Spandam, had framed his master, causing his tragic death. As long as Bellamy could help Franky get his revenge, he could easily recruit a top-tier shipwright.

What Bellamy didn't know was that he had already, unintentionally, avenged Franky's deep-seated hatred. Because of him, Spandam had long since been executed by the Five Elders.
