Chapter 255 - Chapter 255: You're Actually Crying for Help?

"Let's continue."

Bellamy cracked his neck. At this point in the fight, he had completely abandoned his original strategy. The initial plan had been to use a continuous, frenzied assault to crush Doflamingo in one go. But against an opponent at the Warlord level, especially one willing to fight desperately, a one-shot victory wasn't so easy.

Now, the situation had changed dramatically. Doflamingo had bought himself a moment's respite at the cost of grievous injury, but Bellamy had also activated his ultimate burst mode, his power swelling to new heights.

To what terrifying degree had Bellamy's strength grown? He took a few casual steps, and the very ground began to tremble violently. The power he was unleashing was so immense that he couldn't fully contain it, and the excess energy was leaking out.

Doflamingo had fought on these seas for decades; he knew exactly what such a phenomenon meant. Power monsters like this were the most common type among pirates. Among the Four Emperors, two were famous for their astonishing physical strength. The New World was certainly not lacking in brutes with monstrous power.

Normally, Doflamingo's favorite targets to toy with were precisely these types of fighters who only knew how to use brute force. But when that force reached the absurd level Bellamy was displaying, easily tearing through his strings, Doflamingo's own abilities were countered instead. It was like how water can easily extinguish a fire, but if the fire burns hot enough, it's the water that vanishes.

The energy and stamina consumption of Bellamy's ultimate burst was in no way less than that of a Devil Fruit Awakening. He relaxed his body for a brief moment, then launched another ferocious attack without hesitation.

Fish-Man Karate: 5,000-Tile True Punch!

Even the Knight of the Sea, Jinbe, could only manage a 3,000-Tile punch in the span of a breath without charging up. Yet Bellamy casually threw out a 5,000-Tile punch. A sky-blotting torrent of fist-shadows, carrying countless splashes of water, rained down on Doflamingo's position.

After their exchange, Doflamingo had long since figured out Bellamy's fighting style. He relied on his tough hide to launch relentless, overwhelming attacks, giving his opponent no room to retaliate. If that were all, Doflamingo wouldn't have ended up in such a pathetic state. The crucial factor was Bellamy's astonishing speed, and his Observation Haki, which had been locked onto him since the very beginning of the fight.

It wasn't that Doflamingo lacked high-speed movement. His "Sky Path" allowed him to use the clouds to move through the air. But compared to Bellamy's speed, which was so fast that not even an afterimage could be seen, if Doflamingo dared to fly into the sky, he would surely die a miserable death. On the ground, Doflamingo could still use his Awakening to convert the earth into a shield. Once in the air, what would he use to defend against Bellamy's onslaught?

His attacks had no significant effect, he had no advantage in speed, and his abilities were being subtly countered. Besides desperately defending, it seemed there was nothing Doflamingo could do.

But the Donquixote Family did not consist of him alone. If he couldn't win this fight by himself, then he would have everyone come out and surround and kill Bellamy! There were still several incredibly powerful members in the Family. If they all attacked together, they might just be able to win.

At this thought, Doflamingo's eyes once again turned fierce.

I've been fighting for this long, where the hell did those guys go?

He had been pinned down and beaten by Bellamy for ages, and the entire royal palace had been reduced to ruins. What were all the Family's executives doing?!

Bellamy's surprise attack had been too sudden. Doflamingo didn't even know yet that Sugar was already dead. The Donquixote Family's top executives, Diamante of the Ripple-Ripple Fruit and Pica of the Stone-Stone Fruit, had been intercepted by Law and Drake under Viola's guidance. The remaining small fry, like Jora of the Art-Art Fruit and Senor Pink of the Swim-Swim Fruit, were on their way, but with their abilities, they were utterly useless in a battle of this caliber.

The Snow-Woman, Monet, with her Snow-Snow Fruit, might have posed a certain threat to Bellamy. As a Logia, the power of snow could at least slow Bellamy down a bit. But Monet had been intercepted by Viola shortly after she arrived. While the user of the Glare-Glare Fruit was a bit weak in combat, she was more than capable of holding Monet up for a while.

Facing Bellamy's relentless assault, Doflamingo once again raised his Shield White String, hoping his backup would arrive soon. But after several more rounds of Bellamy hammering down on him, his backup still hadn't arrived, and he himself was starting to crumble.

This guy's fists... they're getting heavier and heavier!

His feeling was not wrong. As time went on, the power boost from the Spring-Spring Fruit was getting progressively higher.

Iron Body: Steel Foot!

Bellamy launched a savage kick, viciously striking the white wave of strings, nearly sending the entire sea of threads, along with the earth beneath it, flying into the sky.

Doflamingo, desperately holding up the string shield, felt as if he were being repeatedly charged by a rampaging T-Rex. This feeling... it was just like when he fought Kaido back then, being brutally ravaged by that monster.

"Why is this happening! This guy hasn't even awakened Conqueror's Haki!"

A mere commoner, a low-life thug born in some garbage heap, was actually beating him so badly he couldn't even fight back. Even now, Doflamingo found it hard to believe that he was being so thoroughly thrashed by Bellamy. He had barely been able to use any of his own power.

But even if he had, what could he have done? Could the String-String Fruit really have cut through Bellamy's body? Bellamy's Armament Haki could cover his entire body without a single blind spot. The life force he had stored was enough for him to recover from a dozen near-fatal injuries. His defense and self-healing abilities alone were a hard counter to Doflamingo.

"Where the hell are you bastards?! Get over here and help me!"

Finally, just as Bellamy was about to break through his defense again, Doflamingo couldn't stop himself from roaring.

"Pica, get over here and save me!"

The first person Doflamingo thought of for help was Pica, the user of the Stone-Stone Fruit. Pica's ability allowed him to move freely through rock and even manipulate it to form a giant stone golem. Whether for defense or mobility, it was an incredibly powerful ability. Most importantly, as long as Pica's real body wasn't hit, he would take no damage no matter how much his stone form was battered. In terms of survivability, the user of the Stone-Stone Fruit was undoubtedly number one in the Donquixote Family. It was no wonder Doflamingo thought of him first in this situation.

"You're actually crying for help!"

A Warlord of the Sea, have you no shame?

But then, thinking about who it was, Bellamy had a moment of realization. After getting beaten down by Kaido, this guy would tremble at the mere mention of his name. It would be stranger if a piece of trash like him suddenly grew a spine.
