Leon wakes up to Parodona peeling a Bayla with a knife. She looks at him, "Finally awake? It's been days and all I've had to eat was stupid rock feeder food that's around here. Can you please get up and make some actual food?"
Leon jolts up and starts running around the room, stumbling a bit along the way.
"Leon, what are you doing, you can't just run and rescue rock face!" exclaims Parodona. Leon scrambles around the room, throwing items into a bag. He peeks out of the cave for a moment and looks at the sun, "It's the 248th day the 500 day year. Weather will be nice and sunny, we better get a move on before the cold seasons."
Parodona grabs his pack and looks into it. "Hey, where are you putting these items? There isn't anything in here."
Leon looks at her while he grabs two loaves of bread, "It's a magic bag I got from the people who took care of me when I was a kid. I've never let it go since then."
Parodona sighs, "You cannot just abandon our mission and travel to the council! We need to get to them as soon as we can!" Leon throws the bag down and storms to her, getting up close. "What is with you, huh? You've been switching up ever since we found you. Last night you didn't want to even go to the council of men!" shouts Leon.
Parodona stands firm, "Well, I changed my mind. Rock Face will be fine-." she says. Leon growls as he picks up his bag, "No one just changes their mind like that, Parodona! What do you know about Rowyn? I can't lose him, he's been here for me since!-" he stops talking and moving.
Parodona lets out an exasperated sigh, "If it were my family, I would drop everything and rescue them, too. So, where do we go?"
Leon straps his belt and sword to his waist. "I believe they brought him to a cave in the mountain range beyond the forest. They call it Kopl'a Gon'day in the Unisaki, in the human language it translates to Death to Stone." Parodona's eyes widened, "Wait a minute, you're talking about the Manshvana. You're kidding, I thought that place was a myth," she mutters as her fingers clench.
Leon walks towards the doorway of the cave, "Parodona, it's not a myth, I can assure you. It's going to be dangerous, and it is going to be insanely difficult. Are you sure you want to come? If you don't, you can stay here for the night. If you do, well, grab that dagger and let's go," he shouts in her direction, the sound echoing throughout the cave.
Parodona stands up and grins as she grabs her blue blade. "So, when are we leaving Mystic Magic?"
Leon looks at her irritated, 'First of all, stop calling me that, second of all, we leave right now, so let's get a move on, fin legs." Parodona smacks him on the shoulder chuckling, "Leon bites, huh? Alright, let's head out.
They walk into the forest and start along a clear, concise trail. Leon looks at her as she walks beside him gazing at the trees with a starstruck expression. She looks over, and he immediately looks to the opposite side while he hears her snort.
Leon spots a red bush full of barbed thorns on the side of the trail. He jogs over to it and picks off a small object, which seems to be a berry of some kind. Parodona, walking towards him, suddenly grabs one out of the air, "Leon, don't throw things at me unexpectedly, okay? Besides, what even is this?"
Leon glances at her, grinning, "Cherries Parodona, but not normal cherries. Grey Thyracial Cherries, they are super good in medicines, although they have a bitter taste, hence being avoided but they are edible at least"
Parodona is dismayed, "I've never heard of these kinds of cherries before, we don't have them in V're. Not even in the entirety of the Kingdom of Licher. Well maybe cause we live underwater."
Leon abruptly looks at her with curiosity, "V're? I've never heard of that place. Where is it located?"
Parodona stops walking. Looking away, she looks into the dense ceiling of the forest, "It's my hometown, I haven't left that place since I was born. It's located near the Gulf of Omega, as you suspect I was already from, and it is also where the Moysar attacked me. The memories still have not stopped dwelling in my mind" she mutters quietly.
Leon walks up behind her, getting close to her ear, "You said it's located on the Gulf of Omega. That would be a year's journey, and I know that ordinary citizen of the seatra would never travel that far, even if running away."
Parodona backs away with a cold frown, her blue skin shining in the sun completely contradicting her face. "Well have you ever been attacked by White Moysar? You would get as far as you could too" she scowls.
Walking back towards Leon, she giggles and continues treading the path. Leon sighs as he persists after her juggling Thyracial Cherries.
Two days have passed since Leon and Parodona went into the forest towards Kopl'a Gon'day. It's now the 250th night of the year. Both of them were sitting at a campfire full of red flame, heating themselves up due to unexpected chilly temperature. Leon looks at the mountain in the horizon beyond the forest, then scans the remaining forest they have to cover with hypervigilant eyes.
Turning to Parodona, who is roasting meat, the juicy, savory kind that stems from feathery, round animals, Kilopo. He grasps a stick and bites a piece off, then sets it back down. "Put the fire out, it's time to move on we've waited long enough."
Parodona picks up a bucket full of water they brought for the trip and dumps it over the fire.
Leon and Parodona walk back onto the dark path, "Let's go Fish Girl, I'm not going to wait for you" he snorts.
Parodona side eyes him back and mockingly bows, "whatever Mr Magic. Tch shut it."
