Chapter 134 - CHAPTER 134 TOWARDS THE END OF THE WAR

Ancient Empire Calendar, Year 1834

Half a million soldiers under Ricardo's command had landed in the Northern Region of the Southern Lands.

Throughout the campaign, many messages reached Ricardo.

Victories, Conquests, and Births.

Ricardo's concubine, Vereina, had remained in the Northern Lands due to her pregnancy, and as the months passed, she had given birth to a daughter.

The Kislavein commanders and a few Ashterah commanders in the army congratulated Ricardo one by one.

"Congratulations, Dynasty Lord. May we learn the name of the Young Lady?" they asked.

Ricardo announced his daughter's name to his commanders and soldiers.

"Her name is Valeria. My daughter's name is Valeria Kislavein."

Another piece of news was that Ricardo's other concubine, Freya Frankfurt, was pregnant.

"First Vereina, now Freya... The children are coming one after another."

The commanders congratulated him once more.

"CONGRATULATIONS, DYNASTY LORD!"

"Do you know what the funny thing is, Arael? I've reached the age of becoming a grandfather, yet I continue to become a father."

Arael replied respectfully.

"You are right, Dynasty Lord. On the other hand, your daughters have reached marrying age. Aren't you thinking of marrying them off?" asked Arael.

"I am thinking about it. In fact, I have even chosen some grooms."

Rogan Kislavein, son of Argilac Kislavein, joined the conversation and asked curiously.

"Dynasty Lord, may I dare to ask who that lucky man you have chosen as a groom candidate is?"

Ricardo, appreciating Rogan's polite demeanor, replied.

"Of course you may ask, Rogan. The first candidate I have chosen is Mathew."

Marilin, hearing her nephew Mathew's name, joined the conversation.

"Whom are you going to marry my nephew to, Dynasty Lord?"

Ricardo replied.

"I will marry him to my eldest daughter, Demether. Their ages are close. Besides, I cannot consider marrying off the others while my eldest children are still unmarried."

"And your other daughter, the Young Lady Selia?" asked Heinricht.

Ricardo replied.

"I will marry her to the Ashterah Dynasty Heir. After these wars are over, I can't wait to hold my grandchildren in my arms."

Everyone shared a similar excitement.

Watching the wars end, and the next generation be born and grow up, was the sole dream of everyone, especially Ricardo, who was beginning to age.

As days and weeks passed, the army under Ricardo's command conquered cities and villages with negligible losses.

As was tradition, in cities, fortresses, and villages that resisted the conquests, Kislavein and Ashterah soldiers engaged in plunder, massacre, and rape.

From time to time, some Southern dynasties, instead of defending, would gather their armies and attack, but the assembled armies were destroyed by Ricardo's spells.

Sometimes, Ricardo would single-handedly destroy massive armies with his Aura instead of magic, growing stronger with each battle by tapping into his limitless potential.

"At this rate, we will conquer the Southern Lands much sooner than expected," said Benjen.

Everyone agreed with this idea. The conquest of the Southern Lands was not far off.
