Chapter 435 - Chapter 434: The Experts

Torifu was a little embarrassed when he heard that. It was natural for a girl not to bring up marriage, and Torifu had been hesitant, which was why Naori had been a little down that day. But what he didn't expect was that his younger brother was also worried about it.

Torifu sighed. "I was a little slow to realize. I always thought I'd do it in a couple of years, but I've made Naori wait for so long."

Minato also asked happily, "Big Brother, when are you going to propose? Do you want us to prepare anything? Like we all cheer you on from the side! That's what I read in novels."

Torifu waved his hand. "No, let's not do that. If we do that, I'm afraid I won't be able to say anything."

Amado squinted his eyes with a meaningful expression and said, "Oh~ So Big Brother gets nervous too. I thought you were always so confident no matter what."

"Maybe you can think of the proposal as a pre-war motivational speech. Maybe that will give you some courage?"

Torifu had already automatically chosen to ignore Amado's suggestion. No matter how he looked at it, this was not reliable! If he treated the proposal like a motivational speech, Naori would probably get angry if she found out.

But at the end of the day, even though there were five people in the room, one was a bachelor, and three were minors. If Torifu were to rely on these "experts" for advice, his fate would probably be no better. So in the end, he had to prepare everything himself.

"Alright, alright, you guys just eat your food. Stop giving me advice. You're not helping me propose. You're trying to make Naori and I break up."

Minato and Amado looked at each other, then shrugged. Since the person in question was so dismissive of their valuable advice, they naturally wouldn't use their genius minds anymore. Smart people are always misunderstood, just like the strongest wolf is always alone.

The two children were quietly eating on the side, occasionally perking up their ears to listen, but they didn't voice their opinions. After all, they had only been in this family for a short time and didn't know their future "Sensei's wife" very well. They had only seen her a few times, so it was natural that they couldn't just say whatever they wanted. The two children also knew that children's advice was generally not taken, so there was no point in them making an unnecessary suggestion.

Torifu didn't ask them for advice today. He just wanted to tell them about this. After all, he and Naori had been in a relationship for many years, and now that they were about to become a family, it was natural to share the news.

Torifu had also thought of a few proposal scenarios. One of them was to propose to Naori in front of the villagers. However, Torifu eventually rejected that idea. First, he was worried that if there were too many people, he would get nervous and forget what to say. Second, if the villagers started cheering, it would feel like he was forcing Naori to agree. In the end, the choice had to be left to Naori, so this was definitely not going to work.

"Big Brother, are you still thinking about it? If you ask me, just be sincere. Sister Naori will definitely say yes. You don't have to think so much. You two have been together for so many years."

Torifu laughed and scratched his head. "Although that's what you say, a proposal is such a big deal. I have to make sure Naori likes it. You guys don't have to worry about this. I'll figure it out myself."

After his brilliant suggestion was rejected again, Amado seriously started eating and never voiced another opinion. Minato couldn't help but secretly laugh on the side. It was a good thing Amado didn't notice, or he would have gotten a lecture from his older brother.

The hot pot tasted very good. At one point, Torifu suddenly felt hungry again and asked the waiter to bring a few more plates of meat. Then he realized that the others didn't seem to be full either. It made sense. If they were eating barbecue, they would eat at least fifty plates. These thin slices of meat were not enough to eat. After they finished the second round of dishes, Torifu finally felt a little full. The others were already leaning back in their chairs and rubbing their bellies.

"Yahiko, Konan, are you full? You two are still growing, so you should eat more."

Konan said sweetly, "I'm full, Sensei."

Yahiko was about to say something, but he let out a burp. This was the best explanation, and no more words were needed.

This was their own business, so there was no need to pay. Torifu led his brothers and apprentices out of the hot pot restaurant. The taste was still good, but it was still a little different from the taste in Torifu's memory. But he could understand that, since the seasonings here were not very abundant.

Except for Torifu, the other four were all rubbing their bellies with expressions of satisfaction, seemingly very happy with this meal.

"Give me your feedback. How was the hot pot restaurant?"

Amado was the first to speak. "It was very good. It would definitely be very comfortable to eat hot pot in the winter. It can be compared to barbecue." This was a very high honor. Amado loved barbecue. When Torifu gave him an allowance as a child, he would immediately go and eat barbecue. Putting hot pot and barbecue together showed that he really liked it.

When they came out after eating hot pot, the sky hadn't completely turned dark, but the streetlights had already lit up, and the entire street was brightly lit. The food stalls were neatly lined up on both sides of the road. Konoha didn't have any traffic issues, so the stall owners were usually quite free to set up their stalls wherever they wanted. They were only required to stay off the main street when something major was happening or an important guest was visiting.

"Does anyone want to eat anything else?"

The other four all shook their heads. "We can't eat anymore. We're completely full. Do you still have an appetite, Big Brother?"

Torifu nodded. "Yeah, I'm not very full. But it's okay to eat a little less at night. Let's just go home."

The group quickly returned to the Kumotsuru Clan Compound. However, they had eaten a little too much and couldn't sleep right now. It was also a lot of burden on their bodies, so they were all just wandering around in the courtyard. Minato used this time to practice his jutsu to speed up his chakra consumption. From the looks of it, he was still at the same stage as before, and there was no significant progress in his Flying Thunder God Jutsu. But Torifu wasn't worried at all. Minato was only ten years old, and it was a given that he would learn the Flying Thunder God Jutsu.
