Confined by the Silver Moon Divine Light Barrier, Xuanzi sat with his eyes closed, resting. His body was covered in blood, his skin pale, and his injuries far from healed.
Of course, Xuanzi was not willing to remain imprisoned forever. He had tried to escape, but under the barrier's restrictions, he had no chance at all.
Burning his Life Fire again was out of the question even if he managed to break free, he would die regardless.

However, from what Huo Yuhao remembered of Tang San's divine feats, they weren't as impressive as the book claimed.
For example, in Douluo Dalu 1, after becoming a god, Tang San had struggled to break a city wall.
Yet, in Douluo Dalu 2, Di Tian and Huo Yuhao's battle had created a miniature black hole.
The power scaling was completely inconsistent.
It was likely that when the original story was written, there had been no plans for a five part Douluo series.
As for Douluo Dalu 5, it was pure nonsense Tang San wasn't even on the Douluo Continent anymore.
Instead, he had gone to a Fairy Continent to find a wife, yet the series still carried the "Douluo" name.
"So this is what it means to be reborn, my love!"
Setting aside those thoughts, Huo Yuhao wondered:
"Maybe the best explanation is that Tang San had just inherited his godhood and hadn't yet mastered it hence his weaker display of power at first."
He then looked at the book's cover, seeing the name "Yu Xiaogang" in bold.
"Ah. No wonder. This was written by Yu Xiaogang himself he's just hyping himself up."
Turning to Kong Deming, Huo Yuhao transmitted a mental message:
**"Elder Kong, don't be discouraged.

"You will live to see that day."*
In truth, whether it was future Mecha Warriors or Battle Armor Masters, both originated from Soul Engineers.
And in the future, there would indeed be Soul Engineers capable of challenging gods.
By the time of Douluo Dalu 4, Soul Engineering advancements had even led to the creation of interstellar warships.
