Ji Wei was slightly surprised.
The Yamamoto Yu before her was completely different from what she had imagined. She thought he'd be a merciless demon who killed without blinking, but to her astonishment, he turned out to be a laughing elderly man, full of life and rosy-cheeked.
What surprised her even more was that Yamamoto's Mandarin was quite fluent.
Ji Wei snorted coldly and replied in Mandarin, "Mr. Yamamoto didn't bring me here just for a chat, did he?"
"Have you eaten breakfast yet?" Yamamoto Yu suddenly asked this out of the blue. Seeing Ji Wei's mouth open wide in astonishment, as though she had swallowed an egg, Yamamoto Yu guessed she hadn't eaten. He then instructed a nearby servant to fetch tableware. "Miss Ji, do you mind accompanying this old man for breakfast?"
After a brief moment of shock, Ji Wei regained her composure and declined decisively, "I only eat breakfast with my husband."
The men in black standing nearby were utterly dumbfounded!
