Returning to the bedroom, she closed the door behind her.
Gu Moqian embraced Ji Wei from behind, his voice low as he whispered by her ear, "Are you afraid of cockroaches?"
"Not at all," Ji Wei replied with a smile.
"What about mice?"
"Not afraid of those either."
"Snakes?"
Ji Wei pursed her lips into a smile. "I'm not afraid of any of those. They're just small animals, after all. I even kept a golden python once. Its skin was so smooth—it was actually fun to touch."
Gu Moqian's lips twitched violently.
To be honest, he was somewhat creeped out by those cold-blooded creatures himself.
After a pause, Gu Moqian pulled his thoughts back and asked, "So, is there nothing you're afraid of?"
"There is," Ji Wei turned her head to look at him.
"What is it?" The man raised an eyebrow. So, she *did* have a weakness.
Ji Wei cupped his clean and handsome face with her hands, laughing coyly. "You. I'm most afraid of you leaving me."
