The conversation between the two made Ji Wei feel a bit suspicious.
The door of the Ji Family is impossible to lock from the inside, which isn't proper. Plus, the place where [Old Madam Ji] resides also has cats, so it's unlikely mice could be bold enough to make noise in broad daylight.
Somehow, Ji Wei felt an inexplicable urge to investigate.
It wouldn't take more than a few minutes, so she might as well go and have a look.
"Where is the storage room you mentioned just now? Take me there to have a look." Ji Wei walked over and said to the two servants.
The servants exchanged a glance, looking very surprised, but complied nonetheless.
Before long, they arrived in front of the storage room.
The storage room was on the relatively secluded north side of the first floor, but the second floor just happened to be where Old Madam Ji's bedroom was.
"Miss, look, this door won't open." One of the servants shook the door, then turned back to her.
