"Mm." Ji Wei nodded cautiously, "If it weren't for his help last night, we—"
"Go if you want to." Mo Qian glanced at her silently for a moment and said.
Why did she feel like he was a bit unhappy about this?
After finishing their meal, Ji Wei went upstairs for a quick tidy-up, and as she stepped out of the living room, she saw Mo Qian leaning against the car door, with one hand in his pocket, looking handsome and dignified.
She was slightly surprised, thinking he wasn't planning to give her a ride.
As the car was nearing London Hospital, Ji Wei saw a flower shop outside the window and remembered she shouldn't visit a patient empty-handed.
"Mo Qian, stop at the intersection ahead, I need to buy a bouquet of flowers." She turned her head and said to him.
"No need to buy anything." Mo Qian looked straight ahead, speaking calmly without slowing down.
Ji Wei blinked, "Should I buy some fruit then? Going without anything feels a bit inappropriate..."
