Huo Shaohua squatted down and let Tianxin stand on her own, and Ke'er came over and held Tianxin's hand.
"Little sister, I brought a lot of toys for you. Let's go play."
"Ke'er brought many toys for you," Huo Shaohua rubbed his daughter's head, holding her hand and walking slowly with Ke'er.
The two children sat on the carpet and played while Tian Xingyun brought the food from the kitchen and placed it on the dining table.
Huo Shaohua walked over, sat down, picked up his chopsticks, and started eating. He glanced at the woman serving soup: "How did Ke'er end up here?"
"She ran over here herself. She's really brave!" Tian Xingyun still felt lingering fear.
"Is that so." Huo Shaohua raised an eyebrow.
"What else do you think?" Tian Xingyun gave him a sidelong glance, her tone clearly not believing that Ke'er came by herself.
"Nothing."
"Just eat your food quietly!" Tian Xingyun pouted and gave him a stern look as a warning.
