Lu Xing neither refused nor agreed. Instead, as he waited at a red light, he started contemplating his interactions with Mo Wenwan. He wanted to minimize the risk and finally made a request.
"This matter can't be explained over the phone. It's better if we meet and talk."
Mo Wenwan grew suspicious, "You want to meet with me? Aren't you worried I might play tricks?"
"If your tricks can deceive me, then it's my own inadequacy, nothing to do with you. What, are you feeling too guilty to meet me?"
Mo Wenwan found that verbally sparring with Lu Xing was somewhat enjoyable, and despite all the talking, he showed no sign of backing down. She wondered if being talkative was a virtue for a man.
