The filming in Xinjiang went smoothly.
A month later, the location shooting ended, and they were going to move to the desert.
The desert they were heading to was still the Qaidam Desert.
Although the name is similar, the geographical location is vastly different.
The crew, led by Sheng Tang, had to first take a car, then go to a nearby airport, fly to Xining, and then travel from Xining to the Qaidam Desert.
