"What's the matter, Boss?" Meng Chi asked curiously as Bi Xia peered back around the corner.
Bi Xia smiled lightly, not hiding anything from Meng Chi, "It's Hao Xisheng."
"Hao Xisheng?!" Meng Chi was surprised, then laughed, "Is he here for you, Boss?"
"Who knows."
Meng Chi laughed, "I originally thought he would mull it over at that nameless little shop until we left. Didn't expect him to decide so quickly, how dull."
"If it's dull, then stop laughing," Bi Xia said lightly. "I guess he's not here to join us, but rather to figure out if we're trustworthy."
"What?"
Facing Meng Chi's puzzled expression, Bi Xia said casually, "After all, we're originally a pretty casual family."
Meng Chi: ... Only Bi Xia would badmouth himself like this, he hadn't seen anyone else do it.
"So is it really okay for us to just leave like this?" Meng Chi paused and asked.
Bi Xia shook his head, "It's fine, let's go. Even if we stop now, he won't approach us; he'll just turn and run away."
