In the past half month, two minor incidents and one major event occurred consecutively in Qing City.
The first incident involved a gang war between the Qinghai Gang, an underground elder group in Qing City, and the Nine Pavilion. They attempted to annex the Nine Pavilion in the absence of the Nine Pavilion Master, Zhan Jiu, but returned in disgrace. The head and third-in-command of the Qinghai Gang disappeared, rumored to have been killed by Zhan Jiu's gunfire, while the second-in-command, who did not participate in the gang war, managed to survive and reorganized the Qinghai Gang under the Nine Pavilion's banner.
Since that day, the Nine Pavilion has firmly held its place as the underground leader in Qing City.
