On the verdant grass, one-year-old Huo Tianze was just beginning to stagger through the first steps of his life.
Lin Banxia, dressed in a flowing white gown, held her son's delicate little hand. As he moved forward, she gently attempted to release his hand—and the little guy actually managed to learn how to walk on his own.
Though his steps were wobbly and he soon toppled over after a few strides, the little guy was resilient enough not to cry. Instead, he tentatively picked himself up again.
"Xiao Ze, come here, come to Mommy!" Lin Banxia coaxed him, holding out a small toy from nearby.
The little one, spotting something he liked, immediately crawled toward her, using both his arms and legs.
"Mommy…" The tiny figure fumbled over the words, barely able to pronounce them, but he had already learned how to express himself.
Lin Banxia gazed into her son's pair of clear and distinct large eyes, overwhelmed with affection.
