An Ran slowly awoke, and the first thing she saw was Zheng Kai's anxious face.
"What happened to me?" She looked around and confirmed she was in the school's infirmary.
"An Ran, you're awake?" Zheng Kai breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing An Ran regain consciousness. "You scared me to death just now; we were talking and you suddenly passed out."
"I... passed out?"
An Ran pointed to her own nose, still in disbelief, but it seemed to be true. She had felt things go black before losing consciousness. A medical student fainting in an anatomy class is... incredibly embarrassing, right?
"Yes, the doctor said you have low blood pressure and low blood sugar. But fortunately, there's nothing else wrong. You just need to increase your nutrition intake normally."
Zheng Kai observed her small frame; he had carried her over just now, and despite her tall appearance, she was indeed much lighter than he'd expected.
